A fantastic story in progress, the main character is likable and filled with untold potential. The setting is awesome, a city more then likely overrun with human turned monsters because of an unassuming cold that's been going around, epic. And the grammar is impeccable, honestly some of the best I've ever seen on this site. So in short, Excellent in every possible way.

Great book so far with wonderful character development and interesting story line.  Can’t wait for the next chapter to come out.

Despite it currently only being three chapters, this is some of the best work I've seen yet on RR. The characters are fascinating, well-defined (as yet, though I'm sure far more development is yet to come) and the story thus far has unfolded far better than a vast plethora of other stories which, somehow, have come to be top-rated on this site. I can proudly say that, once the author concludes this story, he could quite capably publish it as a novel--with a minimum of editing/proofreading, as his grammatical errors are few to none and thus far, his story is quite original in its execution. The description alone doesn't do it justice. Read--and be amazed.

I am liking what I have seen from all the action scenes which contain a good amount of details and plausibility, quick wit, and overall just a superior story telling experience. Thanks for your time, Author, and keep up the good work. I will happily follow this to completion.

Dude…..How in the fuck…..IS THIS STORY NOT MORE POPULAR?!
This is extremely well written, to the point that it makes me sick to even compare it to some of the “top” fictions on this site. Not gonna name any, but it’s ridiculous how this hasn’t gotten more attention yet, while some mediocre (Which is debatable and it amounts to opinion I know,  but this is my review so shut up and let me finish) piece of literature is in the top 100’s. Again, not gonna name any.
So far there have only been five chapters but from those five I can already tell that this is a well planned and well written story.
The style is in a first person perspective and it is great because it shows the main character’s… well….character. I personally like the first person perspective to begin with so a bit of bias there. Your use of different P.O.V.’s is pretty good as well, but I can’t say too much because you have only done it once.
The story is interesting where it’s a sort of modern world where magic suddenly comes into play and our main character has a little something special about him that makes him well….the main character. The story gives me a kind of a Percy Jackson feel to it (Not saying that the plot is similar but it does remind me of it.). Though this could be different for other people, it’s a good thing to me because I have always “enjoyed” the Percy Jackson books (Enjoyed is in quotes because I have not gone too deep into analyzing whether or not the books are actually good or not).
Grammar wise, I can’t really judge you on this because I myself am not the best with it. But from what I’ve read, I haven’t seen any mistakes so far so it doesn’t matter much to me.
Last and certainly not fucking least, the characters. You sir have what I would call “Real Characters”; characters who I can imagine seeing on the street or meeting at a party or some shit. The main character is like the every man. Not the typical Gary Stu, but someone you (Or at least I can) can see yourself being friends wi
