Of Fate and Immortals

In the world of Mire, magic is common place. Not everyone can use magic, and most that can aren't able to use it for more then basic needs. A small portion of people however are capable of so much more.

A person gains their ability to weild magic during puberty, if at all. And even then, amongst those who awaken their magic also awaken a whole new trait for themselves - immortality. No one knows what causes this to occur, and many theories exist. What is known is that these immortals do not age and do not get sick. It is also clear that they still die as anyone else does through any other factor, and just as easily as any mortal.

They also gain a unique ability for themselves that no one else possesses. Similarities exist to be sure, but the exact details of each ability are unique.

This is the story of one such immortal, one who simply showed up at an academy and registered himself as a student. He calls himself Mitzi.

Hey guys, this will simply be a story that I will be writing in my spare time. Please do not expect a constant schedule, or any specific lengths for chapters. I will try to keep a minimal quality when it comes to grammar and spelling. I do have an endgoal in mind for this story, but I do not know everything that will happen between the start and the end, only the gist of it.

Romance is tagged because of a romantic subplot. There's always a romantic subplot, isn't there?
