Description

This is similar to your general Xuanhuan/Harem. So, if those are not your cup of tea, this story may not be up to your taste.

Destiny‌ ‌is‌ ‌truly‌ ‌a‌ ‌miraculous‌ ‌thing.‌ ‌As‌ ‌if‌ ‌being‌ ‌thrown‌ ‌into‌ ‌another‌ world‌ ‌without‌ ‌any‌ ‌consent‌ ‌wasn’t‌ ‌enough,‌ ‌Yueshi‌ ‌came‌ ‌to‌ ‌learn‌ ‌that‌ ‌his‌ ‌life‌ ‌hung‌ ‌by‌ ‌a‌ ‌thread.‌ ‌As‌ ‌death‌ ‌slowly‌ ‌encroached‌ ‌upon‌ ‌him,‌ ‌he‌ ‌felt‌ ‌that‌ ‌wherever‌ ‌the‌ ‌price‌ ‌was,‌ ‌he‌ ‌would‌ ‌pay‌ ‌it‌ ‌if‌ ‌it‌ ‌meant‌ ‌staying‌ ‌alive.‌ ‌He‌ ‌didn’t‌ ‌know,‌ ‌however,‌ ‌that‌ ‌his‌ ‌actions‌ ‌would‌ ‌be‌ ‌much‌ ‌heavier‌ ‌than‌ ‌he’d‌ ‌ever‌ ‌expected,‌ ‌and‌ ‌that‌ ‌they‌ ‌would‌ ‌soon‌ ‌send‌ ‌waves‌ ‌through‌ ‌Heavens‌ ‌and‌ ‌Earth‌ ‌–‌ ‌giving‌ ‌birth‌ ‌to‌ ‌a‌ ‌new‌ ‌era.‌ ‌

Men‌ ‌are‌ ‌dragons,‌ ‌women‌ ‌are‌ ‌phoenixes.‌ ‌Men‌ ‌are‌ ‌yang,‌ ‌women‌ ‌are‌ ‌yin;‌ ‌the‌ ‌principle‌ ‌of‌ ‌duality…‌ ‌two‌ ‌‌‌opposites‌ ‌that‌ ‌need‌ ‌each‌ ‌other‌ ‌to‌ ‌exist‌ ‌and‌ ‌to‌ ‌have‌ ‌meaning.‌ ‌With‌ ‌that‌ ‌said,‌ ‌when‌ ‌a‌ ‌Dragon‌ ascends,‌ ‌ten‌ ‌thousand‌ ‌Phoenixes‌ ‌chirp;‌ ‌when‌ ‌a‌ ‌Phoenix‌ ‌falls,‌ ‌ten‌ ‌thousand‌ ‌Dragons‌ ‌grieve.‌ ‌Dual‌ ‌cultivation…‌ ‌yin‌ ‌and‌ ‌yang…‌ ‌dragon‌ ‌ qi‌ ‌and‌ ‌phoenix‌ ‌qi…‌ ‌Yueshi‌ ‌will‌ ‌soon‌ ‌find‌ ‌that‌ ‌everything‌ ‌is‌ ‌far more complex ‌than‌ ‌he‌ ‌had‌ ‌ever‌ ‌imagined!‌

I read up to chapter 51, which was about 120,000 words. I feel like I have read enough to make an accurate review of this story.
This is not a good story.
This is not a decent story.
This is, at best, a mediocre story. This would be a passable starting novel for someone who was very young who wanted to get into webnovels, and wanted some obvious self insert material with a tad of porn in it.
For someone whose more or less, experienced, and has read a decent amount of stories, this will just be a bad story.
The style is in generic chinese fashion, the overly flowery descriptions that you've seen in almost all chinese webnovels cranked up to maximum. The descriptions that feel like fluff and mainly serve to enhance the word count. It's not good, but it's not outright garbage.
Grammar is probably the best point of the novel. There are mispellings, even with the author's proofreading that he does, but thankfully the grammar issues are infrequent enough to not noticably distract from the story, or what their is of it.
Characters and story here, are interchangeable with the main problems of this novel. The characters are cardboard cutout of generic characters you have ever seen in a chinese webnovel. The evil master, the fellow sect members, the one or two obligatory "good bros". What's worse is that they are all unmemorable. I can't for the life of me as I'm typing this remember any other characters names, besides the MC and his sister, and thats just due to how they are called the same name most of the time. They feel 1 dimensional, with absolutely zero personality to them. They feel like written NPCs that are just here to help the MC along. Don't even get me started on the enemies, both humans and animals. Human enemies are the generic tropes of enemies you see. The animals/beast enemies just feel like the author used some random generator of animal/beast names, and choose whatever popped up as what to use as the current enemy of the chapter. You know you will never be
