This is meant to be a science fantasy story similar to those of a dying earth novel. It has an unreliable narrator. It is likely not very good, as I am posting unedited work so that I can get the 55k words faster. Read it at your own risk and understand that any imperfections you see are likely due to its nature as being an unfinished work. This is the story of Odran, a man who has lived as a scavenger, an unsavory vulture in society. He lives in the underground province of Bellowan, where he has few friends, and he is content this way until one day he realizes he has wasted his chance at integrating into society. After making a grave mistake in his effort to become a respectable person, Odran is ostracized and sent on a journey from hell, punished to wander the chaotic surface world of Dormandub.
