- Ayuman2007Royal Road★★★ 3.0From the Synopsis you will likely assume that this is the story of some quiet loner child that slowly becomes obsessed with the school jock. That impression is wrong. The main character is someone who likes people who don't pay him attention and already have partners. He is a teachers pet who hates teenagers while he himself is one. He has a friend and is wrote to be a nerd, but isn't presented as one. Show not tell.
The grammar is acceptable, while writing style resembles typical 16 year old Wattpad writer.
We seem to get straight into the story at the end of chapter 2, so pacing is at least alright. Characterisation is not that good. Dialogue feels unnatural. Some letters aren't capitalized when they should be.
Humour is kinda like Family Guy, but without the setup. I mean, there are setups, but the jokes don't land.
Some sentences aren't understandable on the first reading, due to either poor grammar or straight up words placed at the wrong place.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In short, slightly worse than average, wouldn't recommend reading, but also wouldn't necessarily tell someone not to read it, some people might like it. The type of people that will like this will be rare, but some can and might enjoy it. Mostly teenagers, around the ages of 12-15.
