Description

Delivery man Thomas Morell arrives on planet Sintash to deliver a package. He discovers that everyone is dead, except for a planet-killing cosmic being that offers Thomas a chance to be its emissary across the universe.

Come on a journey with this wonderful story that marries esoteric philosophical concepts, a dystopian AI/LLM-driven future, creative community engagement, and stellar writing skills. Each new chapter is presented with an eccentric twist without subtracting from the narrative's foundation.
The characters are incredibly interesting. A cynical deliveryman working a repetitive job due to the purpose it gives him (reminds me of the story of Sisyphus) while maintaining a rebellious streak. An otherworldly being who is literally defined by the perspective of others (a living mirror of our expectations). A supporting cast of memorable people, corporations, a hilarious cult, and semi-sentient robots.
The final character is you, the audience. This story is shaped and changed in real time through our comments and reviews.
A unique concept that is executed perfectly in my opinion. I'm excited to read more and bear witness to what happens next!
*Who knows? Maybe the delivery man is going to become similar in composition to Zeniya through constant exposure. *

    If you enjoy:
    Interacting with the story.
Comedy with a taste of realism.
    Spontaneous combustion.
Finding meaning in a meaningless world.
    Your Amazon deliveries arriving on-time.
Observing phenomena until it becomes reality.
Then this novel is for you.

Style - In true Vitaly fashion, it's a wild and chaotic ride. The interactive aspects of the story make it no less so, but the author folds it well into the broader context of the story.
Story - Boy meets eldritch entity beyond human understanding. Boy falls in love. Jokes aside, I did have to dock a half-star because it so far feels much like The Stars Have Eyes, but being what it is that can be partially attributed to the readers. The background draws heavily from Vitaly's other works, particularly Romantically Apocalyptic, but for those familiar it's like an old hat. Comfortable, familiar. To newer readers the broader context may seem a bit hard to grasp.
Grammar - Thus far I think I've found one grammatical error, and a minor one at that.
Characters - The protagonist Thomas shows a much higher degree of personal agency and initiative than the norm for a character in this situation. Zedix is gradually shifting (and there is a clearly stated and understood reason for this), while several minor characters from the interactive side of things show the occasional bit of depth.
Overall, I wouldn't take things too seriously. It's a Vitaly style bowl of chaos, flavored by a teaspoon of reviews and a half cup of comments, blended into a wild and unpredictable ride. Could be fun, could go truly off the multidimensional rails at any moment, and your safety harness is improperly fastened.

I will be updating this regularly as the story progresses
Over all, very fun and you should join us in reading it.
The story has grown and come into its own as we all hoped it would. We are comming in on a major confrontation, and I am quite excited.
    ----------
FIRST - CONFIRMED, at the start of each chapter Vitaly will post screenshots of some number of things which are having an impact on the chapter. So far the following have been shown to have been shown to function.
    -Rating Statistics
    -Reviews
    -Comments
SECOND - CONFIRMED, the greater the potential impact, the greater the required weight of observation. Changing minor details is easy, changing major events is hard. Weight is known to be increased by:

THIRD - CONFIRMED: Characters are not directly controlled by the audience. They have their own internal character and act in response to circumstances as they would were they real. Orders given to characters occur as literal orders given to them from off screen, be it by radio, vision, intrusive thoughts, or something else. It is possible for you to appear directly in the story, giving those orders, but so far this has only happened off screen in sections of alternitive POV.
FOURTH - CONFIRMED: Sometimes there is a pole at the bottom of a chapter. These actually do directly control the story via the mechanism of timeline selection.
FIFTH - PENDING: Spoiler Boxes act as Causal Shielding. Use them if you want to discuss things without affecting the story.
SIXTH - CONFIRMED: In order to manifest a group of personal followers you MUST leave a review. Without leaving a perminant observable mark on the story as a whole you are limited to momentary influence on a chapter by chapter basis. Do not feel pressured to review dishonestly though; a low star villain group is as valid as a anything else!
SEVENTH - CONFIRMED: You can directly message Vitaly and provide additional characterization of your follower gro

I really like this type of story some people don't, but I do, I think it just makes things unexpected happen. It's a nice change of pace from the routine. I wonder if Zen is gonna go berserk if/when her mailman is hurt. One last thing, it would be interesting to see how Zen would react to him dying, would she resurrect him somehow?

Well It would appear im quite late to witnessing this anomaly of a story/entity. It seems like alot of fun and the kind of story/entity that quite paradoxically has to be experienced rather than simply observed. While ive been a lurker and watcher on this site for a long time Ive never seen a story/entity that takes its interactive.
Perhaps my stars and review will assist this young thomas in dealing with his annoying persuer's, perhaps my stars will simply be used to fuel a cosmic entities further existance. In either case this seems like an amazing story/entity for me to have amazingly found in its prime.
Finally can I just mention how excited I am that the relationship of emisary and observed is finally blooming properly now that I have caught up on the temporal records that I have failed to interact with. Not only is it blooming, but its occuring on a ship no less just poetic and wonderful.
Now enough gushing onto the review proper
    Style:
    Excellent
    Grammer:
    Excellent
    Story:
    Excellent
    Character:
    Excellent
The style is unique and like nothing ive ever seen. While Ive interacted with interactive stories before they mostly took place through poll or submission. Rarely do you see a story this interactive.
I am no expert with Grammer, but I have seen very few grammer mistakes.
The story is in the best way possible a messy ball of twisted time and progression. Mostly due to the affect of outward influences such as myself and others. I quite like how uniquely this story takes that mess and makes its it own identity.
Thomas and Zeniya are wonderful characters being pushed around a unvierse of obervers who are desperetly trying to reach and control the inately uncontrolable. Thomas is grounded and a bit of a rulebreaker, I would like to see him gain a bit more initiative and self assurace but I understand his reluctance considering the threats that face him. Zeniya is just wonderful no further explanation.

Style: I like the futuristic aspect, and the lore and world building is very nice, now if we could just flesh it out a bit more. I understand it's something of a fun, unique project but I want more set dressing.
Story: Very high concept, metaphysical and high stakes. The pacing feels a bit fast paced but I'm not put off by it. I'm enjoying the twists and turns.
Grammar: I think across 20 chapters or so I noticed one odd grammar choice. Not even sure it was a mistake, potentially just two words switched around.
Character: I am intrigued by the motivations of the main character Thomas, I am enjoying his perspective. The entity feels a bit like a neutral mask, less of a character and more of a plot device, but the scenes discussing motivation and emotion are impactful and intense. I enjoy it.
Overall I'm excited to see where it goes, and see where the peanut gallery takes it in the future. The idea of a voter based story has been tried a few times, I can think of at least one on Tumblr. I would love to see a more ambitious project that was very open and interactive with its audience.

Davey rates this story 4 stars on grounds that I like to read it, but has it's perfect imperfections.
Mostly some spelling issues that grind my gears but I am too lazy to notify the author about.
And the story is best read while also having read his other works, don't ask me why or how, just DO IT.
You don't have to, but it gives the story so much more going for it.
Too bad I can't (re)read M.S. Fortune anymore, it is not fortunately mine to read anymore.
    Are we in the clear?
    GOOD!
The last star is mine and mine to keep.
But Dave, you keep getting smiles on your face while reading this story!
