I'm gonna start saying that this one really feels different to what you can found here on Royal Road. Where most books focus on action, fights, power growth, etc. This Is almost enterily centred on the characters and the plot, the last having some pretty nice twist's and never revealing too much, even in the end.
I will warn that being a short text the pace can feel pretty fast, even rushed compared to typical Royal Road works  And that while it has tags LitRPG and GameLit things like skills, the game system and a lot of other common things on this site. They play little importance to the story and are more like part of the enviroment, kinda like cars on a city, they have a role but don't expect them to dominate the narrative.
I hope you can give it a try atleast, since it doesn't gonna take long to decide if it's to your taste.

This story didn't really catch my eye at first. I think I've seen it pop up in the newly updated tab about three times before I finally gave it a chance. It was mostly because the story, as described in the synopsis, didn't really speak to me.
But then, on a whim, I decided to give it a shot despite my apprehensions, and ended up binge-reading the whole thing (posted thus far). There's just so much more to this story than first meets the eye!
Style: A very neat and pleasant to read first person narration that is as smooth as butter. The very personal aspect of it may obviously not be everybody's cup of tea, but it really lets the reader experience the story through not only the eyes of the main character, but through his very being. But about that in a bit...
Story: What would you do if you were asked to act out a role of a town NPC in a popular MMO? Would you create a whole persona that best suited the role? Make a backstory? Or would you improvise and just try your best to make the experience more enjoyable for the players? No! You would obviously recite the same three lines over and over again to everyone you met, forever! Absolute insanity! And Isaac, the main character, seems to agree, because with each passing day he spends in the game he seems to steer more and more off his script as he slowly and inadvertently connects with the players, and tries his best to deal with his emotions, frustrations and the few jumbled memories that keep haunting his mind. To me, this story isn't about adventures of Isaac the NPC in some game. Not fully. It is a story about Isaac the person.
Grammar: No issues here, though admittedly, I was so engrossed in the story that I might have missed some minor errors, so take the score here with a grain of salt.
Character: Arguably the best part of the story. The characters feel genuine with all their stories, tragedies, little goals, interests and frustrations. Their lifes, essentially. The author did a great job at characterization, bec
