Description
There's one firm rule in Central City: everyone dies.
Super strength, invulnerability, regeneration, everything else is on the table. Everythingexceptimmortality. After all, if anyone was immortal, then Alpha, the completely-legitimately-elected dictator for life of Central City, could absorb their skill and become dictator forforever.
It's a good thing no one is immortal, then.
Especially not Levi.
Similar vibes to The Boys, Perfect Run, and Astro City, a satirical dark superhero story with a LitRPG twist!

- ArcsleepRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The beginning of all things or maybe some things Levi. Could be the middle of the beginning ever gets written assuming there’s a beginning before this begins. On that note loved the insanity and casual attitude towards death, mainly his own. It’s a fun ride so hold tight to something or someone … or not, some people enjoy falling.
- ArnavguptaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So , not gonna lie i was sceptical diving into this reading the synopsis, but this story is genius. Honestly one of the most entertaining I've read on RR in a long while. The story doesn't conform to well known tropes at all. It mows through already set tropes like a truck. It's fast paced, chaotic, funny and intelligently written . Everything you can hope for.
Ps. The MC is kinda insane. Scratch that he is very insane(not the good kind).

Not enough stories in this genre, and Noct added another great one too it. Thank you, author!
Also, because this still isn't long enough, you should check out some of his other stories. - DomteknosRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really falling in love with this MC. Not sure if he’s crazy or crazy like a fox. Very witty dialog and very entertaining. This story really got me hooked from the start and I can’t wait for the next chapter. Probably going to look for more from this author. Really enjoy the writing.
- Drifting SailRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0"Nobody's Hero" seamlessly intertwines the captivating elements of a superhero narrative with subtle litrpg undertones in an interesting world, featuring an antihero protagonist with a touch of madness.
Despite the limited number of chapters available, I found myself irresistibly drawn into the story from the outset. The characters, in particular, stood out as the most engaging aspect, compelling me to eagerly devour every page. I typically refrain from sharing early reviews, but thought this novel deserves more praise. - JasminElliRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0just finnished the story and it was great! super chaotic MC, he's the definition of 'fresh out of fucks to give' and completely insane while still kinda sorta trying to live up to his own moral code
setting of the story reminded me of Steelhart by Brandon Sanderson
great read!! - RydstelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is actually becoming very interesting. I don't know why anyone would give bad rating even if they don't like the story. Just move on to next story . Only reason would be if words were garbled and corrugated. Taste in stories are subjective and people who leave bad ratings are as..hol. s.
- TheJammiest2Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Now that its finished, I can give a full review of what I thought of Nobody's Hero.
Levi, or Beta, is one of those "immortality has made me a little bit cuckoo" characters, and its written wonderfully. He's hilarious, but his experience and skill shows through whenever its needed, combined with a unique gallows humour. There are characters such as Maury, who clearly have a past and involvement with Levi's and Alpha's creation, but its not spoonfed to the reader, its dropped with little hints and breadcrumbs, even at the end of the story.
The different storylines all come together towards the end in such a satisfying way, its really a joy to read.
And the death of Alpha scene, with the whole of Levi's revenge plot leading up to him breaking into Alpha's penthouse, only to ultimately find that dementia has eroded Alpha's mind. Alpha being much more like Levi's closest friend from years prior, juxtaposed with the monster that he became and Levi's realisation that the Alpha he hates has been long dead, leaving behind the man he called his friend, and the knowledge that he has to kill him anyway. Chills man.
TL;DR This story is finished and relatively (for a webnovel) short, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who's on the fence about trying it. In my opinion its up there with MOL and The Perfect Run as one of the best finished stories on this site. - additional cableRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The main character is more than just a blank slate that gains unstoppable power. I like how he's also has actual emotions and is not morally superior to everyone else. The world is fun and full of interesting aspects to explore. If its as fun as the other books that have similar premises then I cant wait to see what direction this story will take.
- usernames are annoyingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s very funny. The main character is hilarious. He’s also morally grey but it seems like he has a good reason for being that way. The side characters are also cool. I like seeing the main character interact with all these other people who seem to know him. There are some questions I have but I feel like they’ll be answered soon which is good because I hate when books leave unanswered questions.
