    STYLE:
I’m not much of a fan of superhero stories, but this work got me hooked! The dystopian world-building was super interesting, and the author did a great job writing how their world has been crap with putting children in prison-like “institutions” for Power Farming.
    STORY:
The story felt realistic with its propaganda and the part with conspiracy theories. The story progressing using the characters communicating with each other instead of relying on 3rd person narration was also great writing as it helps to show how they have distinct personalities and depth, which can make the readers attached and emphatize with them.
    GRAMMAR:
There were no grammar issues nor issues with narration, but there were a few minor typos and missing words in some sentences which can be simply fixed through editing.
    CHARACTER:
The characters were insanely good. They were all unique in their own way, with having their own personalities and inner struggles. The supporting characters have their own purposes, not just mere decorations to uplift the protagonist’s characterization.
Overall, it got me hooked to read more! It was an amazing story and I’m anticipating what happens next. Thanks for sharing this work! Totally recommending it to superhero fans out there!

I say superhero LitRPG in the title, but it is more like super villain, in a way. First of all, the world is really well crafted and you can feel it come to life on the page. The author clearly put a lot of time into knowing his world well, and each chapter available to read feel polished. I honestly feel like I am reading an already professionally edited, ready for release, novel.
I got through seven chapters and was sad when I couldn't click next. The characters are really well done, each character having a distinct personality.
Vince is incredibly relatable, and you can feel his palpable rage at some of the events in the book. This shows that the author has thought about the character, and has his development well in hand.
If I had to offer any kind of critique, I would say just a touch more description here and there would be nice. It certainly isn't bad by any means. The style is excellent, I have no issues with any of the grammar, and the story sucks you right in.
I feel like this is a book I would read well into the night. I mean it when I say that.
This story /deserves/ to be read. Stop reading this review and go read the first chapter now. Send me a DM thanking me later.

I found this story through a review swap and I was not disappointed. It’s a clever book that has some great lighter moments and had me happily flicking through the chapters.
Style: This book is seriously well polished and feels like the author has gone over it with a fine toothed comb. It's written in the third person and it's a good choice, especially as I feel like the points that are described are what Vince would notice.
Story: There is a real attempt here to bring something new to some overused tropes. The dystopian world of the setting is probably the reason for this, its cruel and unfair and gives real agency to Vinces motivations to bring down a regime. The introduction of the superpowers is done in a subtle way as well, I won't spoil but there is a lot of room for development and its a good hook to draw you in.
Character: Vince is just the kind of character I want to follow in a book, hugely relatable. The way he relates to the other characters in the story line Lucia adds depth to his character and is another nod to the writer having a good understanding of their craft.
Grammar I’m not close-reading for issues. Nothing got in the way of my reading

No More Heroes is set in a dystopian world where super-powered individuals, or Adepts, live under the strict control of the new global government. The MC, Vincent Villari (BTW - love the alliteration), and his friends Danny and Lucia, are caught in a  web of power dynamics and survival, which makes for an intriguing story.
One of the best parts of this story is its character development. Vincent, as the MC is well fleshed out, with a full backstory and a clear sense of purpose. I found his inner struggles to make him a relatable and compelling character. There are a couple of great secondary characters: Lucia and Danny. They are also well written and have great backstories. Overall, I found the characterizations in this book to be extremely well thought out and written.
The story's pacing is generally done well. There's a good balance between action scenes and moments of introspection. The use of cliffhangers and suspense kept me engaged and excited to see what would happen next. It was a real "just one more chapter" kind of story. There are occasional lapses where the pacing felt a little rushed, especially during transitions between intense scenes and quieter moments. More gradual build-ups and smoother transitions could enhance the overall flow of the story.
Grammar and language use are mostly solid. There are minor issues with punctuation and word choices, but they don't take away from the reading experience. I feel like most won't even notice.
This has an intriguing plot and fully developed characters. The dystopian setting and the unique concept of Adepts under NGG control was a cool and unique take  on superheroes.
No More Heroes is one of the better stories I've read on RR. Check it out.

I just can't stop at the third chapter. I wanted more! The concept of this story is of my liking and I will follow this work!
Pros: At my first scan of the story, I can't help but get engaged with the writing and about the plot. Its good, depicts the society and all what the readers need to know about the world in an engaging way. It tells a lot of the writer's skill and ability to get the readers hooked. I have no issues with the grammar or the formatting of the story.
    Cons: None!
Verdict: The story is very interesting and I am adding it to my follow list. A super hero themed terrorist story is something new to me.
I would like to thank the author for introducing the story to me!

Genuinely so enjoyable. Strong voice and compelling world building. I was immersed in this story and will be following along each chapter. Despite the darker setting for classical superhero stories, I appreciate the amount of familiarity and well-timed levity.
There’s a mystery and grand plan that we are working towards, but we get plenty of smaller scale conflicts, losses, and victories along the way.
Each character is distinctive and they’re written with actual depth. Backgrounds, flaws and motivations are gradually revealed about each character when they come into conflict with each other and the world at large. Intelligent characters have been pretty aptly written and the dialogue is a treat for intrigue.
The cause for superpowers is well executed, along with the historical narrative of how the current society operates. The powers have light litrpg elements without feeling overly constrained. I am interested to see how the author will show the (significant) growth of intelligence in his system.
I have different ratings depending on the medium content is created in. On royal road, if I feel genuine emotion and am invested in a story, not even mentioning that it is freely available, means I am happy to toss 5 stars in support.
Right, grammar- there’s maybe only 3 mistakes every 5 chapters? With more attention I’m sure the author will get to them.
Highly recommend, have a good day.

Overall: If you just strolled up to me and told me that the concept of superheroes and a dystopian future would mash this well, I would never believe you. That is why this is a story to watch. The premises blend surprisingly well with each other with the added twist of an 'escape', that really draws in the readers and the execution is amazing.
Style: Descriptions and conversations between characters really do feel natural and realistic. The interactions enhance the character profiles well, and the style used provides good immersion for the reader.
Grammar: The grammar was perfect, did not find any flaws in the author's writing.
Story: The story, from these first few chapters, already starts to draw me in. Without spoiling anything, it has superheroes in a somewhat totalitarian dystopian future where hero prospects are trapped in facilities to improve their abilities. This concept, alongside the characters, brings out my curiosity of what's to come.
Characters: Characters are consistently written, and have natural interactions with their companions.
Conclusion: Even as someone who rarely reads superhero stories, there is more than one aspect of the story to get excited and curious about. This is what makes it a good story for anyone in general. Definitely reading more chapters, and am excited to see what's to come.

This is a superhero school story - at least the setup - that isn't very super. Something has caused some humans to be able to Manifest superpowers. Is it aliens or a deeper conspiracy? That will unfold over time. Regardless, superpower-capable teens are gathered into prison schools where they are forced to study and also work until their powers develop. The protagonist, Vincent, already wasn't happy with his lot but when his sister develops forbidden powers, it's time to escape.
Vincent is a consciously Machiavellian character, whose empathy - a measurable stat in this world - is way way lower than the rest of his scores, but that doesn't make him the villain the government will portray. Certainly not compared to the so-called heroes running the show. No, Vincent wants to know the truth. What really causes powers to manifest? What is the government really up to? And what really happened to his mom that's caused her to be disappeared from history like she was one of Josef Stalin's former pals?
Read if: you like superhero stories with dark turns, you're looking for a different take on school stories, or you want to see how a slow dark story unfolds.
Style: sentences can be a little long and awkward but that seems to be improving as I go
Grammar: a few nitpicks here and there
Story: worldbuilding is a strength for sure. Story is definitely the strongest aspect and the questions are what will keep you clicking Next.
Characters: I don't really like Vincent yet and his classmates and friends are a bit one dimensional, but I suspect as the story goes that will improve.

Very good. #WouldRecommend. If you liked REND, you'll probably like this. It has many of the same points that would draw a reader in, from a sociopathic and calculating MC, to an interesting world.
Style: Conveys what's wanted adequately, and it reads well. The chapters and paragraphs break at good points, and the whole thing is just very easy to read.
Grammar: Good. It reflects the first person POV well. It's at a typical Royal Road level, maybe even slightly better. But it's unfortunately not good enough for five stars.
Story: Very organic. Flows well from chapter to chapter, no disorienting timeskips or anything. The world is also very interesting, and the exposition isn't boring to read. The way the characters drive it is well done.
Characters; The bread and butter of this story, I think. They're very realistic, and I think the author portrays Vincent as a sociopath well, though sadly not nearly as competently as in REND. The characters act believably, and they're all fleshed out well. The bad guys are also easily hateable, but don't seem to have too much depth, which is unfortunate.
All in all, I would say read this story. It's very well-made, and I would say to read this in-between chapters of REND. This review was part of a review swap.

This is a hard one for me to review. On the one hand, I like the dystopian world, the author knows how to write distinct characters, there's some interesting worldbuilding and the grammar and style have no obvious flaws.
On the other hand, I have found myself stuck at chapter 26, starting to read only to find myself suddenly having switched to do something else. It's like I can't build up enough motivation to continue, even if I was invested in the story. The problem is that I never really connected to the main characters. The main hero is emotionally lacking as a apart of his personality and while its decently done, it also hinders me from caring enough about him and sadly, his friends has as yet mostly acted as obedient followers, stopping me from caring for them too.
Now, this is obviously a matter of personal taste. While it ultimately wasn't for me, I don't regret trying it out and absolutely did enjoy the start. The writing is clearly above most of what is published here, so I do recommend others to give it a chance.
