It obviously uses the apocalypse template, with the added fun of being permanently night time. There's a cat? Uh, I don't really know what to write anymore but still feel like giving it a rating so please put up with me. - Evelyn AdelbergRoyal Road★★★ 3.0This story struggles with its tenses. The first chapter has a lot of switches between past and present, and the second chapter gets creative with its past tenses. This does get better in the later chapters, but it is very noticeable at the start.
There is also a lack of cohesion, partially due to the tenses, and partially to the sentence structures. Oftentimes it is hard to tell at the start of a paragraph if it describes a thought (or memory of the MC), or a real-time action.
But on the plus side this story makes fun of Twilight vampires.
