Description

Awakening to a new world, Bailey finds himself in the presence of a giant and gains the opportunity to become a god.

[Contains elements of Progression, slice of life, Lit RPG levelling type system and classes.]

Re-write with a different start as the previous one wasn't really what I wanted from my story.

Please note that chapters will be sporadic as this is a hobby, any tips ticks of the trade and corrects are welcome.

Suggestions are also welcome, so if you think I'm going too fast or slow, call me out on my bull.

Please know that status screens and other prompts are common place and will show up but not be constant, you DO NOT have to read them to understand anything, Bailey won't be, that's for sure.

I like this story enough, the premise itself is nice and almost fully fleshed out in execution, but the rest of it are pretty glaring flaws the lower the quality by a lot.
First, the chapters are too short. The first few chapters didn't explain anything about the MC, they just went directly from one moment to the next without any explanation of his emotional state or any internal reasoning. This changes over a little bit in later chapters, but then it just goes back to being "Emotionless Hero Template A". That isn't something that's enjoyable or many other people.
Second isn't as bad, it's just some minor issues with grammar. The basic spelling and word structure are good, with very little errors in that department. It's just the author needs to work on their punctuation as their sentences are hard to separate into individual parts
All in all, the story has great potential but falls terribly short. This can be fixed easily in rewrites without changing anything about the plot so far, just needs to add better detail for both the character and his thought process. Just don't go into unnecessary detail, as this doesn't seem like a story where the MC is constantly inside his own head.
