Archfiend XVII Vlan Evilsson has fallen. Once the prime villain (though he really wasn't), the antagonist who, well, managed to steal a kind of okay looking princess, Vlan is no more. Well, until some sort of older, evil, god-like(?) entity sends him back to before everything. Before he had a Castle of Darkness, before he had a mechanical dragon, before he was a villain. Vlan has one more chance to be the villain he always wanted to be. Turn the heroine to darkness, get revenge, form a new team of bosses, and cage the whole world under his rule.With these goals in mind, our brave young villain sets out a new adventure!

    Vlan is, to put it in a single word, a dork. A villain that doesn't really know how to be the villain, so he simply acts and does what he feels the archetypal villain would do. For the brief scenes we see where he's an adult, he comes off as a guy that finally achieved his dreams only to realize they were all far more of a hassle than he expected. On his deathbed he's sent back to his childhood and one of the first things he does is hug his formerly deceased friend and cry. Not especially villainous, but hey, neither's Vlan.
    All in all I'd say the story has a lot of potential. The main character's a villain trying to figure out how to correctly be the villain, and that's interesting. There's only three chapters as I write this review but each one is interesting and fun. Very interested to see where the author takes this story.
