Description

Fuubuki was once known as the greatest thief in all of Ignia City. However, a certain incident, finally led to his capture. Surprisingly, instead of being given a sentence for his crimes by the king, he was instead offered a role as the princess' personal bodyguard. Thus begins Fuubuki's new life in this land of magus. This is the tale of the Hero of Mesgaea.

I love the why that he built the world up in a single chapter, he described the MC and his place in the world quickly and memorably.
Knowing when to quit world building is hard for me to do in my novels, glad this guy has a good grasp on the story's pace.
All that being said, the MC characterisation is just plain cringe, this souring the story as a whole. The fact that he's a teenager who has four for his life in the slums, yet acts like a 4 year old is painful. I just hope that he goes through knight training or something to take his role that little bit more serious.
He somewhat makes up for it with the 'dry whit' esc comedy, like when the head knight keeps kicking everyone in the face and makes it seem normal.
I know just how hard it is for someone to create such a good AI artwork, it's always been a nightmare for me. This tells me he's putting a lot of hope on this story line being successful, hope everyone can support him.
All in all I rate this highly and hope he announces what release schedule he has planned!
