Charley just wants to make it through her day, get home, and steal some hugs from Gran.

You can help write her tale with your input!Charlotte “Charley” Willoughby is the only breadwinner for her family. She’s made herself useful helping her company retrieve Artifacts from the Rifts: rough tears in the fabric of reality that appear randomly. The Artifacts they find are oddly out of place - she doesn't recognize the writing on them, and they evoke places and cultures she's unfamiliar with.

Then one of them - an ember-covered feather - flips her entire life upside down. Strange dreams, lost history, and unexpected guests tear a 'Rift' of their own into her day-to-day.

This job was supposed to be safe... Now she's wondering if she should demand hazard pay.

An amazing story with the MC being Charley the Sass Queen (a name and nickname, both from us Motes), some time travel, and us in the Mote Cloud being able to influence the story. :)
I am always on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter to see Charley's antics. Plus we recently got another friend (that I won't spoil) for the 50th chapter!
The style is awesome, Charley with the aforementioned sass resulting in the reads being a great time; the story has some cliffhangers, but they are awesome when they do happen. It never makes me feel mad that they left off on such a tense note, instead it's usually "Ooh! What will happen next?" and makes me excited to continue!
The characters are awesome; we've got a kinda mad scientist, a strong boi, and Gran (who gives really good hugs)!
For grammar and spelling, Nebula's usually pretty good at catching that sort of thing; but if they miss something, then we have an in-house proofreader to help them work through that.
So in conclusion, this is an great story, you should go read it, and try to read up to the current point and suggest something, because you could easily change something just with a comment or two. ;)

The main character is nice and sassy, there's some birds, and magical explosive things! What's not to love!

Char reminds me of Charley Davidson from the Darynda Jones series, except I think Char is funnier. Her loving family gives the story a lot of cozy scenes, and there's also a lot of Char doing reckless things and getting away with them by being OP. I love the story and I hope to read more.
