    Much of my praise for this work is identical to it's prequel story What You Left Behind. It's a good Strinova story that works beautifully as a piece of fanon in that universe but is perfectly approachable with minimal context of the game the story is set in.
    As the ending to that arc, this story offers a satisfying and emotional cap to Natalie and Kayce's story, with the writing only improving upon its prior work. Both this and its prequel are absolutely worth a read.
