Nature's Child

In a far corner of the universe lies the world of Horos Ora. This world is very different from the other worlds. This one world has a single presence that alters every being on a fundamental level. This singular presence is the element of magic.

Magic or mantanus is normally a highly radioactive element never synthesized in any amount, but in the extreme amount it somehow exists on Horos Ora, it completely stabilizes into the easily manipulatable force of mana.

As mana existed and the world was very habitable once the mana stabilized, soon creatures followed. For the creatures that soon appeared, the stabilized mana didn’t affect them. Occasionally though, some mana would seep into a creature or two, and create a completely new creature. These new creatures would be much stronger. They could sometimes even control a portion of the world, through the mana. These creatures were much more fearsome than their original species.

The first sentient creatures had a natural talent to manipulate mana. These were the precursors. They had unopposable power, but little control.

Now millions of years after the precursors, when a boy, a precursor, and a dragon fight to the death, only to end up living as one, what happens to them?
