In the year 2086, the world is controlled by powerful corporations and even more powerful AIs. Vannister Brown is a police officer who desires to do his job well and be recognized for it. Policing can be a complex work and the use of AI is an even more complicated topic. But one thing is clear and simple to Vannister Brown. Cal-9 is the evil AI, you should always seek to stop its schemes. Ca-3-na is a good AI, she is always willing to help out the police force.He has lived by this simple rule in his interactions with AI and does not question it. However, his world turns upside down when he is sent on a seemingly straightforward assignment to brief a wealthy man about a case. All hell breaks loose, and his understanding of the nature of the world is toppled. Can Vannister Brown achieve his dreams of becoming a hero to society, or will he be a pariah?

This work is a fun project for me to practice my writing. I work full-time, so chapter uploads will be inconsistent. I may write and upload chapters during the weekends.I am a new writer, and this is my first project. I hope to learn and develop my creative writing skills while working on this story.
