Nat and the Iron Dolls

Mum brings me from Caracas to LA to start high school at my uncle Geraldo’s. He is a part-time night watchman and second-hand car seller. I become close friends with his daughter, Gerry, a boyish athletic girl two years my senior who heard about a local arm-wrestling contest. I meet Danny, a gym instructor, who defends me from the assault of a gang.
