The Time Looping Gamer ( Naruto )

Reborn in the Naruto world, the MC finds himself in the middle of the third shinobi world war.

Finding out that he is merely Gennin cannon fodder who failed his Jonin sensei exam and was sent to the Gennin corps and from there sent directly to the battlefield merely a month later.

Finding himself with only the three basic academy jutsu and meager chakra, Kazuo strives to change his fate before heading into a mission only a few hours later.

Finding himself and his team members ambushed by a cloud Gennin team that outnumbers them with four more members compared to his 3 man squad.

Dying at their hands, Kazuo finds himself face to face with death itself, telling him to give up however he doesn't and thus he finds himself back at the start of the day with some sort of gamer system.

Knowing how the future would cast out to be Kazuo starts planning.

The story revolves around Kazuo as he works hard and dies over and over again but never gives up.

Will Kazuo survive or will he remain an unknown shinobi with his name inscribed on the will of fire memorial stone?

The story will be quite slow-paced paced and he won't become op quickly.There will be no romance at all.Quite dark, especially with the descriptions of gore.

    Fast pace, with a nice time loop ability. My fan fiction scale 7/10, also status screen is not bad.
    My only problem is if I had the time loop ability in Naruto I’d be do the craziest stuff like telling Fugaku the truth or trying to unmask danzo. Just imagine going at danzo with enough explosion seals to level the village only for him to pull out izangi front of the whole village. The uchiha would be going wild.

    So far so good. MC was reborn into the novel of a weak orphan genin. He seems to be reasonably intelligent and doesn't seem like he will get overpowered too quickly. No signs of harem, thank god. I have a soft spot for naruto fanfictions but they tend to devolve into trash quite quickly. I hope that this doesn't happen here, I'm looking forward to see where this goes

    Very good, one of the best Naruto fanfics. If you want something well done and fun, you can read this. There are no explosions and powers, nor powers taken from nowhere. Despite having a loop system, the MC is not invincible, he has weaknesses (which can even be worked on in the future to give a good tension), in short, he has a huge potential, although before 100 chapters it is difficult to give the verdict. The grammar is very good, I haven't seen any mistakes so far, the writing style is fluid and not tiring, the story, despite being short, already has several "mini arcs" and a lot has already happened. The protagonist is also very good, he's not a psychopath, but he's not a saint either, overall very good. Maybe if he had a specialization in some area it would be cool, learning ALL the elements is cool but if he stayed in just 2, 3 or 4 it would be even better. It would avoid having a lot of skills that he would not use in the future and from getting very confused. The story arc in Konora will be very cool, but it would be good if Mc was already relatively strong, to be able to sustain the title he seems to seek, that of genius. But despite all my considerations, feel free to do what you think is best for the story, after all, you are the author.

    Naruto the Time Looper is a gripping and inventive take on the Naruto universe that grabs you from the first chapter and doesn’t let go. This fanfiction brilliantly combines thrilling action, dark themes, and a refreshingly edgy protagonist to deliver a story that is both emotionally charged and endlessly engaging.
    The action scenes are another highlight. The fights are detailed and vivid, with a sense of urgency that keeps the reader on edge. The stakes always feel high, even when you know the mc will “reset” if he fails, because the author masterfully conveys how each loss chips away at his psyche.
    What really sets Naruto the Time Looper apart, however, is the way it challenges the reader to think. It tackles themes of mortality, free will, and the weight of one’s decisions with surprising nuance. as we watch our main character descent into darkness…
    While the story is largely excellent.
    If you’re a fan of darker, more mature takes on Naruto, and you enjoy stories that combine action with introspection, Naruto the Time Looper is a must-read. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions that will leave you eager for the next chapter. Highly recommended.

    This is pretty good story, it has unique storyline. Characters are realistic and the conversations are smooth. Mc has an interesting personality. Overall it is an interesting story to read.
    Now if we want get into details I would recommend this because few main reasons. First of all Naruto fanfics generally follow a similar plot and this so far is different from the others though I only have read till chapter 42 so far( it is up to date at time I leave this review ). It follows A time looping protagonist with a system and it is not over powered so far. It also does not have unrealistic reactions like Mc telling everyone of the future or using his knowledge of it openly and people getting amazed by it instead of trying to dissect his brain or reading his mind which according to canon is typicall responses in Naruto world to such an occurrences where people display a unique blood line or jutsu with out having a proper standing. Updates have been happening regularly till now at the rate of one chapter a day they do not have high word count though but it is at an acceptable length I believe. It includes a certain amount of lit-rpg elements but they appear rarely.

    Currently at chapter 47.
    The fic starts off a bit shaky on the grammar and writing, it improves noticeably with each chapter.
    I am really enjoying the concept and so far Author has not disappointed.
    I've been binge reading this for the last day and I'd recommend it to any Naruto lovers out there.
    MC uses his 'cheat' skill in interesting ways(Not that he can help using it when he dies) and has made enemies of Danzo and the Raikage even before chapter 50.
    Can't wait to find out how this goes from here.

    Good execution of a time loop concept and a self insert, but it make the main charecter too apathetic or hostile to everybody around them from the get go. The apathy setting in eventually is bound to happen due to the disconnection constantly dying and respawning will create, but it feels very "I'm too cool and edgy for this town" on occasion.
    Overall the charecter work is nothing special or memorable, but the time loop gimmick is well done.
