Description

Tanaka Uzumaki was just a normal Chunnin ninja from the Hidden Whirlpool Village until he was injured while returning from the Leaf Village after completing a mission and remembered a past life in which he lived in a modern world.

Of course, that wasn't all – he also acquired a strange ability...

Perhaps if he hadn't remembered the past life, he would have been more confused. After all, the real world becomes configured like a game for him. People have names and levels above their heads, and when he repeats continuous actions, he gains new skills and attribute points.

I enjoy Naruto themed fiction and LitRPG, also don’t have a problem with characters that start with mor cheat abilities or advance rapidly.  However this story misses a huge requirement for any fanfic, LitRPG, or gamelit story… character motivation!
Character is reincarnated, then immediately isekai to a version of the Naruto story verse. MC is part of the Uzumaki clan from hidden whirlpool village during the time of the 3rd hidden leaf hokage.  Starts at level 1 with the attributes of a level 80+ ninja (assuming others had a game system, which they do not), gamer mind, gamer body, ability to absorb skill from any skill book/scroll, repeating actions (poorly) creates skills for free that scale up rapidly, killed enemies give XP and often drop skills, otherwise drop items with bonuses or a TON of money. … abilities are super cheaty.  Also, once the character…
… gets the shadow clone ability, they can grind not only skills and mental attribute growth, but also physical growth transfers over to the main body.  (Author justifies it as XP related gains, but in the story the attributes are granted for doing push-ups and squats, nothing related to XP, no leveling happens related to these free gains… and the attribute gains are really very easily obtained by simple exercises even after his attribute levels are ridiculously high (no apparent diminishing returns)… think 1-punch man comically quick strength advancement.)
The biggest failing is The authors failure to provide any character motivation, reason for development and advancement, clear enemy (to the MC), threat to the main character, or general character interest for doing anything… aside from growing power for the sake of being more powerful. Main character has no romantic interest as of chapter 20, friends of note, training partner/regular associates, or place within his village of note aside from being a generic ninja fighter. Main character does have a cousin (ex-ninja housewife, without husband?) who has some ide
