Description

Publisher Steve Lewis receives an old yet extraordinary science fiction manuscript.  He recognizes its potential to seat the author alongside Jules Verne and H.G. Welles for her ability to speculate on the future of space travel.  To determine if it is credible, he immediately sets out to learn more.  His investigations into the manuscript radically change not only his perspective of history, but also of technology.

I really liked chapter one, and chapter three was very good. All the box style, story, grammar and character.
In chapter two, the shift in perspective is unclear, the paragraphs get bigger and the information denser. The latter point is fine, this is hard sci fi but im combinatiom with the other two points enchances the confusion as I am trying to work out what is happening in the story.
What time zone are we in? Where? Who is this character and how do they relate to our already established characters?
I'm perhaps being a bit too harsh but an odd choice derailed the experience for me. But it is easily fixed with about a line of telling, that is exposition.
For now a solid four, I recommend it for something different. Very sci-fi and character led.
