Description
My father saved the world once and he's working on saving it again, but I’m going to kill him. Even if the nanotech he pioneered might solve every problem facing the world, he still needs to die for what he did. I don’t care that I’ll get experimented on like a lab rat, that I’ll have to join his cult-like Butler Institute and pretend to be his loyal follower like my hundred brothers and sisters, or that his tech makes him nearly invincible. I’ll pay whatever it costs, even my own mind, to get the power I need to take my revenge. I owe Mom that much.

So far, I'm still reading Book 1, but I won't stop there!

In a world where nanotech could save humanity, the protagonist is torn between revenge and loyalty. Despite the potential experiments and joining a cult-like institute, the quest for revenge becomes a powerful and emotionally charged journey. A debt to a mother becomes a driving force in a tale of family, sacrifice, and the consequences of wielding extraordinary power. - XeinzoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’m not much of a sci-if reader myself, but the few times I’ve read it, I’m usually turned off due to boredom. I can’t say the same for this book. An intriguing premise that reminds me a bit of Umbrella Academy. Perhaps that was even part of the inspiration? Regardless, this was fun as hell to read and, in a way, even uncomfortable lol.
- ilvaltarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Oh wow, how did nobody stumble on this hidden gem before ? I can't believe I'm the first review honestly.
Sincerely, this is one of the few stories on RR that I can really call flawless. I was hooked during the whole story, each twist was perfectly done, and each character was interesting.
It's a proper sci-fi, the one that makes you think, that makes you feel, dream and wonder, while also making you scared.
The story is so interesting, always keeping you intrigued. The drama is perfect, you see the train wreck but you can't stop reading and in the end, you just want to cry with how much the story touched you.
Each character is perfectly introduced and written. They are believable while also having interesting character arcs, each posing their own dilemma and making the main character grow in their own way.
The first book brings so much and ends perfectly. I didn't understand why the story continued, but honestly, the second book continues and brings along a whole new set of problems, new emotions and new heavy problems.
I will stop here, no amount of words can really tell how highly I think of this story and I hope this review will encourage some of you to actually try it ! - tofu salesmanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I was feeling a little bored with all the litrpg books here on royal road when I stumbled across this gem. It's a legit very well written sci-fi that almost never requires the suspension of disbelief. The way the author writes the main character so well that I even notice the subtle differences in how Noah thinks and acts as he learns more about his situation. Anyways, read this story, give it a chance. It should be much higher rated for the quality we are all getting for free.
- StarmancerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story was great, and I think hit all of the notes it set out to pretty dead on.
I do have some issues like how the characters were mostly 2d outside our MC, and some plot points were entirely unbelievable and hamfisted, but you know what? It doesn't matter, because despite all that-- the story was one of the most entertaining stories I've had the pleasure of reading lately. It has been years since I checked daily for new parts to a story, nothing has inspired that kind of voracity in me since I was in my mid teens.
Thank you to the author for recommending this work to me in a thread I created on Reddit. I hope you write more stories like this in the future, because you are very talented.
