Summary:Hikigaya Hachiman, shortly after an odd Valentine's day, finds himself in a new world filled with magic, monsters, and gods. Though he knows not how he got there, he knows that the only way back to his home is through the Dungeon. Also from SpaceBattles.
I've read this story a year ago but I haven't properly reviewed it.
I should do that. This story means so much to me as a reader and a writer. I loved the writing style, the intriguing use of established worlds to make something that could stand on its own.
Grammatically, the author knows what he's doing and is fairly advanced in utilizing the proper grammar while minimizing simple mistakes from damaging the overall story.
The plot and the pacing, while usually consistent, will be the deciding factor of how far you will read this story. The characters' ideals, logic, and the story's plot will decide your mileage. Romance too (probably but not likely).
However, it's the characters that stand out in this story, at least for me. The development of these characters, the fleshed out thoughts, ideals, and the unique styles that each character brings to the table is truly something to behold. Love it or hate it, the author creates something more with what he has, something I would expect with fanfiction.
The interactions between these characters though...the author wrote it so skillfuly that no matter how slow or fast the plot seemed to go, it's the interactions between these characters that made me keep on reading.
    The author did good.

As the title says, I think calling this fanfiction would be devaluating your story. You took an already existing world but you made your very own story in it. And honestly, with good stories, especially in the fantasy genre where pretty much every idea has already been written down, it's not about what you write but how you do it.
I love the POV of Hachiman, the sarcastic and dry humour is exactly what I would expect from someone normal thrown into a brutal world where every day is a fight for your life. That leads me to my next point: Your characters are all not only relatable but also believable, which I find is something a lot of people seem to struggle with. While Freya to me is kind of stretching it, with the hints you gave it is still in the realm of being possible to turn out like that. Because let's be honest, all the crass characters you read about in stories with their weird quirks and extreme opinions will ever only work in fiction - and that's a big turn off me personally.
It's hard to make believable and entertaining characters and you did an admirable job!
Also I the pacing is decent and the comedy in this story is well placed, (I like to read a little grittier/more serious stories), but I admit that it wholly depends on how you want to tell your story and in this "genre" (liteRPG I guess?) you already dislodged yourself from the grey mass and created something of your own style that can be taken seriously.
Also additionally I feel I have to mention your exceptional use of japanese popculture? because even if I didn't get half of the references I can appreciate when someone talks about something they know and to me it adds another part to the story a lot of people try but fail to pull off.
I really liked reading your story, had a good laugh from some of the inner monologues of your characters and a good time following them on their adventure. I hope you will someday pick this back up and give the story you began the end it deserves. Until then!

For anyone who has not heard or read this fanficton before.
this Story perfectly depicts the male lead from oregairu, personall favorite of, i am sure, many her on the forum.
While this story mostly describes the interaction between the many characters, it somhow succeds to pull you in, make you read severall chapters on hours befor you fell like stopping. At the least it happend to me on the first time i read it on the forum. Only stoped when i read all latest chapters (at that time chap. 3.1), so araound 10 chapters. From there problmes, trials they had to overcome to ocassional jokes cracked or funny situation, i couldn't stop myself from reading, too curious to see what might happen next.
Next to none mistakes, most of them negligible. Some may see them on the first readthrogh others on the fourth or maby fith one. in either case they will not bother anyone reading this Fiction.

woah there was some real progress in this story. The character depth and interactions are just splendid. Well it requires the reader to have some history with popular anime culture but that didn't make it any less enjoyable.
i really wish the author a happy life so that he can continue this story after the multiple year long hiatus he announced at the very end of book one. Even the end was well done in my opinion.

So I stumbled upon this fanfiction from a recommendation and I thought it's just going to be a normal average fanfic that you can forget anytime but I'm glad I was proven wrong.
    Let's see...First, Hikigaya's/Others' characterization:
Superb! Fantastic! You captured his personality very well. I thought he's going to be OOC throughout the whole story (It happens a lot in most fanfictions) and I was proven wrong, he's still the monster of logic we all know. As for the others, you also captured them very well that I don't need to elaborate. 5 stars.
    Second, your writing style:
It's great that I don't need to elaborate much. The way Hikigaya does his monologues and so are the others, it captures my interest very well that I can't stop reading. 5 stars.
    Third, the story/plot:
Wow, just great. For a crossover story, it's well written. Hikigaya's overpowered but reasonable (double-edged) skills, his goals together with some certain someone and him being a mentor, it's superb that it fits in well to the story, that they're not weird/strange enough to raise questions everywhere they go in Danmachi universe (eg. laser guns in medieval age). 5 stars.
    Fourth, your grammar.
Spectacular! Little to no mistake and grammar is always important in any kind of story because good grammar will deliver the story well while bad grammar will slowly feed the audience's intention to abandon reading the story. 5 stars.
    Lastly, some parting words:
Overall, perfect 5 stars. That's how awesome and well written this story really is, I hope lots of people read this and witness your great fanfiction. With that said, please keep updating this because I really want to see how this story ends and it'll be a shame for a great fanfiction to be abandoned and left to rot. Until then, have a good time.

This story is powered by a cler love of both properties, and it shines through at every point in this fan fiction. The narrative voice of Hikigaya is sharp and clear, as it should be! And the author's full grasp of not only the characters of OreGairu and DanMachi, but the world of Orario itself, makes this a fun and fascinating read no matter how familiar with either property one is. A fan of both proerties will get the most out of this, of course, especially since the author goes out of their way to show how the characters of both worlds have parrallels, but anyone who likes the leveling, dungeon crawling genre will get a lot out of this story full of heart, growth, and action.

I've only read 6 chapters, but it's already enough to judge this story. It is quite good, despite being a crossover fanfiction with the MC of one anime (oregairu) dumped into another anime (danmachi) 2 years prior to it's start (but the story starts on what would be danmachi ep1 after he's had 2 years to dick around)
I didn't really know what to think, I mean, it's clearly a story that would normally be just another self-insert, but it's not a self-insert, it's actually a crossover, which is so unusual... And it works too.
An extremely cynical and logical guy dropped into an illogical world, where his cynisism saves his ass a lot, yet also gets in his way from time to time.
It's a more realistic character who brinks on a mental breakdown for good reasons, more often than not, yet doesn't actually break down (at least not yet) despite how shit everything goes for him. It's also not just a rehash of danmachi, although it partially is, there's an original twist to it kind of like a butterfly effect. (exactly like a butterfly effect in fact).
It's a fairly engaging read. The first chapter is annoyingly stylized, it's very very bad how it is stylized, with some words almost at random being a smaller font size. This stops in the next chapter though; so it didn't remain a problem.
However what became a problem is that this writer somehow managed to completely ruin his action scenes. He doesn't actually write his action scenes usually, not the important ones.
If you've played mass effect you should know what a Salarian is. His action sequences are like a salarian monologue.
Here's what it looks like (minor spoiler, but not really)
    Spoiler: Spoiler
Both first attacks were feints. Meant to force me into air. At least ten projectiles incoming. Assumed incapable of dodging in mid-air.
    Correct assumption.
    "We have him!"
However, incorrect in assuming dodging to be only viable alternative.
No pursuers, full focus on projectiles allowed.
    Estimate trajectories of incoming objects.

This is a solid story. Good characters, and nice plot.
But it can not escape what it truly is: a fan fiction of the novel/manga/anime "Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no ha Machigatteiru Darou ka"
If you are a fan of that manga you will enjoy this story, but if you are not or you do not know the manga you will be, at times, confused about the story, characters, and plot line.
