Description
Henry was a young man who had just finished his third year at the Magic Academy when his parents met an untimely death. Leaving him and his sister, Makayla, to fend for themselves.
Henry's time at the Magic Academy was filled with strife and suffering as his low mana levels made him the laughingstock of the whole school, so when his parents died, he decided to drop out to take care of their small shop. However, the declining business and the hefty debts his parents left after their deaths made Henry even poorer.
Yet, while he visited some ruins on a nearby mountain one day, he came across an old book inside one of the buildings. This book will forever change Henry's life, as he has obtained a system that will help him do what he has always dreamed of doing.
With his newly acquired system, Henry will acquire thousands of treasures!

The MC is trying to be a responsible big brother, yet when faced with a tough life situation he has still made the most of it and kept his own sense of self. I can understand where his passions and insecurities are, and how those influence his decisions. His sister is a good counter balance yet shares familial traits that show us their connection to one another. Despite the MCs' sometimes immature behaviour for his age, it is understandable why he succumbs to his impulses.
The writing has good grammer, prose and pacing. It could use a little bit of editing (I suspect autocorrect has played a role in that), but is vastly better than most works on this site in that regard. It is still in it's early stages so it has plenty of room to grow.
Overall I like the main character, and feel that despite his shortcomings he is well thought out. Most character actions seem to fit what I've gathered is their intended behaviors and personalities. My one hesitation at the beginning was on wider societal interactions. The valuable object the main character was waving about in public was suppossedly of great value, yet as of chapter eleven very little realistic scenarios had played out in regards to that. The next chapters addressed this issue, and the proverbial "other shoe dropped on the floor." Looking forward to Henry's new adventures. Waiting to see how his IQ and EQ grow.
