David finally lands his dream job working as an assistant to a living legend. A once in a century kind of Genius. But you know what they say? Never meet your heroes.

He learns that no other assistant has lasted more than 30 days with Dr Rivera. The doctor is manipulative, petty and above all else bored. Still against all odds David vows to persevere. This is too good of a job, career changing opportunity for him to give up on an account of cranky genius.

As the time passes and personalities clash the month ends and strange bond is formed. David and the Doctor form a close relationship based a growing respect for each other.But fate conspires to separate this strange new budding friendship. David soon learns of the Doctor is not the kind of person to let something as benial as mortality get in the way of what they want.
