If you enjoy a story with a lot of emotional depth I recommend you give this story a try. The author is good at painting a vivid picture of Florians point of view.
This story begins almost like a childrens story but you can always feel this thread of unease and darkness through out its chapters.
The contrast of the perfect world we see around our protaganist and the dark under currents is beautiful and sometimes haunting. I would say at some points almost eldritch.
Even the minor characters around the protagonist immediatley gain depth though the unique perspective she has. The main characters are really fleshed out. The Villians are all representations of classic Archetypes but are shown to be individuals. There are some gripes I have with their casual beahavior that are meant to establish they are villains that feel a little jarring but it does not deract from the story much.
The Ambiguity of people knowing or not knowing what is going on is creating an amazing tension.
When this story hits, it hits hard and unrelenting.
My only critisism is that there isn't more.
