- Roderick PendragonRoyal Road★★★ 2.5The imagination is there, but is obvious that the writer still has lots to learn. The story itself is pretty cool, but the first couple of chapters are a bit infodumpy. The writer adds a layer of seperation to the story by saying: "I looked and saw a huge mountain.", a better alternative would be "A huge mountain rose from the earth." or something similar. The sentences are long and almost always in italics, which bothered me a little. The grammar is alright, but I didn't really look for grammatical errors and such.
The MC is cliché, at least till chapter 6, but there is room to grow his character.
All in all 2.5 stars.
