Description
Achieving the pinnacle of power, a mortal could, Andras stood against both Heaven and Hell to save humanity. Having died several times in futile resistance while the brutal war for the Chaos Seed continued, his sole wish was for his undeserved suffering to end. In the final battle atop the world tree, Andras sacrificed himself one last time. Having never reached old age nor found love, he swore that if reincarnated once more, he'd forsake the tragic hero's path in favor of a peaceful life. With his wish granted, Andras found himself within the Central Hospital in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Instead of being reborn, his soul now occupied a body of a teenager who had forsaken his own life in what some assumed was just an accident. In a world without magic, Andras was left only with his knowledge of martial arts and the internal Qi that all humans possessed. The story follows his adaptation to a new life without prior knowledge he would have gained over the years. Thrown into the wilderness that is the modern-day high school, in search of love and well-deserved happiness.
I hope you enjoy the long ride ahead of us, as we watch our MC struggle to grasp the concept of modern tech. Joined by a wide cast of characters, plots, and character development, the story ofMy Last Reincarnationis full of drama, romance, comic relief, and action!

- ShadowKing21Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is a work of art. To those who don't like a slow story with little action, this might not be for you. However, for those who do, this book takes everything to another level. The story does a great job of showing how hard it is to adjust to a new life. I've made it to the the end what is currently out, and the main character still isn't doing too good with electronics. The romance in this story is among some of the best I have read. It doesn't take too long, nor does the author drag out the romance by making the main character extremely dense. While I did say that the story is slow, that doesn't mean the isn't action. There are plenty of fights going on, but they are realistically described (minus the whole fantasy part), and they are fun to read. Overall, this is a book I enjoyed quite a bit.
- MrMerkRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall, I've enjoyed the story and it's premise. It's an interesting take on trope's that are quite common and I'd reccomend to anyone who has enjoyed similar stories.
The early chapters are a bit disjointed but it flows better as the writer becomes more confident in where they wish to take the story and how they wish to tie things together and I'd say as whole becomes more comfortable writing.
The grammar is acceptable especially for what I can assume is a story written by a non-native English speaker and the character's are all very interesting in their own right. Character's that are introduced aren't just 'background' or 'NPC' types, there is depth to them which further builds the world and interactions of our MC.
The key issue that I found is the dialogue flow which does improve as the story goes on but if you're able to look past and through this, you'll greatly enjoy the story. A note for this is for anyone wanting to read this, give it time and it does improve!
One of the key aspects that I enjoy about this story is that it has a lot of room to breathe, it can dip and delve into the modern world and even blend into the MC's original world as the author needs. I greatly enjoy the fact that it isn't a 'isekai-overpowered MC' right off the bat, you can infer from the narration that it's implied without being outright stated which serves to draw you further in as you hope to see what the MC is truly capable of and how he navigates an almost alien enviroment and the modern social views on people, gender and civilisation as a whole.
Well done Riz Tales and I hope to see more work from yourself in the future. - Purple_BromRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I might be bias, since this is my first story in which a fanrasy character finds themselves in a non-fantasy modern setting, but I love the concept and ways the MC deals with modern life and the problems that come with it. The side characters seem to be slowly fleshed out and Im excited to learn more about them through the Mcs eyes and see how he views all that this new life has to offer him. Good work and keep it up!
- BrucePickEmUpRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am going to be honest with you, in my own humble opinion without being sentimental of course, without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter from a distinctive perspective, I would like to say I have nothing to say.
- A V DalcourtRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall: A surprisingly engrossing drama that had me hooked from chapter 2.
Style: The story is written in a close third person narrative style, which allows the moments of character introspective moments to feel natural. It’s a light read, but it’s also so full of nuance and undertones that I find that I’m anticipating the next chapter. The author doesn’t rush with her setup and resolution arcs to the various dramas, but it’s well worth experiencing the build up before the author resolves the crisis in what feels like a wholesome conclusion.
Story: Arthur is a jack-ass. His delusions lead him to jump infront of a truck in a suicide attempt so that he can reincarnate in a different world so he can be overpowered, and have a harem that he’s obviously entitled to. Or at least he was.
Let’s just say that Arthur’s suicide attempt was successful, and inhabiting his body is a tired old monk/warrior of ancient war that humanity has long since forgotten. Assuming the role of Arthur and older brother to Sophie, he focuses his time and energy getting acquainted with the modern world and forming a tight bond with his sister. His wholesome approach to his sister and grandfather has endeared me to this character and to this story. It’s so refreshing to have something not end in violence so solve a problem.
Character: The new Arthur, Sophies, grampa, even the bullies feel like people we know. It’s so hard to share so little, yet so much in just a few quick words that I’m truly impressed with how quick I started feeling something about these people. I felt awful when grampa was forced to apologize to the arrogant customer. I felt horrified by Sophie’s plight. I smiled when Arthur made friends with the smart girl and the old-arthur’s buddy.
To me this story is so much more than a high school drama. It’s about being better people. - Carson6319Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Defaintely worth a read. Found myself looking forward to each new chapter which feels like a mini episode.
Its not perfect as some of the grammar is 'flat' and the bullies feel overly villainous, seriously who says 'obey me'?
I wish there were more stories that decided to do the reverse isekai, its a nice change of pace where the MC getting stronger is not the focus at all. - ZalrickRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm definitely looking forward to this one. I rarely give ratings this early in a story, but I felt obliged to do so because I enjoyed the world building, characters, and plot potential. I'm looking forward to seeing where the author takes this story.
Word word word word word word word - 82MysteriesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am really looking forward to this one. It will be my guilty pleasure on a Friday morning at work. I don't normally rate this early in the story but I have to as I really enjoyed the world building, characters and potential in the storyline. Looking forward to how the author carries this one forward.
- KwokatronRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The premise of a tired hero and solider reincarnating into modern life feels like something that has been done but no matter how many times it's done I'll always love to read it and see the reactions of the MC fumbling around in a technology dominated world. This story is refreshing to read and makes me feel as if I'm watching a movie I want to binge and never stop! If you're still reading this review what are you waiting for, go and check it out already!
- Was.Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Our main character is absolutely wonderful. Once some kind of demigod like protector of the realm reincarnated into a young half Korean high school student whose biggest problems haven't been the fights he's gotten in (as he retains his martial prowess) but figuring out 21st Century technology and social niceties.
Very funny, very well written, and I am very excited to see where it goes! Love it.
All the side characters and friends of our MC are great as well!
It truly feels like a Korean Webcomic in novel form. Love it. It gives me vibes of Descent of The Demon Master, except our MC, Arthur, didn't get the standard reincarnation memory blast.
I can definitely see this being a series that goes on for a long long time! The chapters could be a little longer for my personal tastes, but I'll blame Azarinth Healer for that!
I look forward to our MC advancing his Qi cultivation, maybe learning to harness the chaos (raw mana/magic) that seems so limited in our world? I wonder if a hidden murim society exists or if our protagonist is going to be a monster among men.
This has my major seal of approval, and I'm looking forward to the future chapters the author puts out! I binged up to chapter 22 in an hour and honestly wish there were another 200 chapters to read!
