I figured I'd be in for some light rom-com when I saw the title/cover. But then I started reading and damn was I surprised.
The story follows protag Alan, and supposed co-MC love interest Astrid, inside a time-accelerated virtual world. Protag comes in late due to circumstances and the world has moved on.
Intriguing premise, includes several aspects worth exploring: Man lost in time reconciling with an indifferent world, sapience of AIs and their relation with mankind, human nature under loose restrictions of reality, and so on.
If nothing else, the above should be enough for prospective readers to give this story a shot. The world is intruiging and the plot is gripping.
Where the author could improve, in my honest opinion, is the "human nature" part of the equation. As another review notes, the romance part of this story is quite frustrating. I would go a step further and say the characters themselves need more work.
    One scenario:
MC is in love with Person A (ok), Claims to be in her way *due to a miscommunication* and will come back when they could stand together (umm, ok), then a few days later starts dating Person B (why?) who previously tortured and killed MC several times (really?).
People don't fall in and out of love at a dime. They don't shrug off trauma. They don't change personalities with a week. Emotions are not rational. One can't change one you feels because of logic.
Please don't take the criticism personally author, I say this because I am quite invested in the story myself. Thanks a lot for sharing.

With a complex post apocalyptic universe and detailed characters, this story has the roots needed to be great. Unfortunately, the writing style is clumsy at times, and the mc love interests interaction are frustrating.
The main problems are a lack of fluidity in the change of viewpoints and badly distinguished back flashs.
The universe building is great. The writing style prevent immersion.

Interesting base premise, but by chapter 30 while I feel bad for the traumatized poor schmuck of a MC, I don't like him enough to invest more time into him.  The female lead is more interesting as there seems to be more backstory there than is currently revealed, but for reasons is ignored and avoided.  The other characters... feeling bad for torture, doesn't change the fact that you are some that both condones and participates in torture.
On the title issue the female lead doesn't even have a guild in the top ten before the MC even starts his.  She might be the strongest player but keeps her player rank at 7 for reasons...
