My Clone in an Another World

Description
A Soul wants to expand its presence outside its Local World Cluster aka; Earth.
Unbeknownst to it, after many, many trials, it finally succeeded.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mir awoke in a New World with new rules and challenges waiting for him.
Or should that be her? As Mir found out that the first challenge awaiting him was waking up in the body of a 13-year girl.
Yet, as if that was not enough, the Reincarnation process left things to be desired.
Thankfully, his Progenitor had not left him/her to face the world, like a newborn chick.
A Starter Package was included in this Reincarnation.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Book One - Princes of Jade;
First Arc - Identity Crisis - Introduction to my style of writing as well as the general trend of the World Building and the initial plotline.
Second Arc - Shared Suffering - Expansion of the narrative, both in world-building and character development.
Third Arc - Jade Rebellion - Culmination of the plot for the first book.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Clone in Another World is my second-ever written story.
It is full of experimental thoughts, thus aside from the ending of the first book, the story contains little Action, as noticed by the absence of said tag for the story.
Instead, My Clone in Another World became a Drama oriented story with character interaction and world-building taking the forefront for the story.
The Historical tag was added in my attempt to portray Ancient Chinese Culture without a shred of Chinese blood in my veins. Praise the Internet for this one. Keeping up with the Historical tag, the story contains a lot of philosophical thoughts.
The Psychological tag was added because the story became a Slice of Life type of story with the plot pacing it contained. Additionally, the plot was centered around the motives, thoughts, and emotions of the characters. Hence, no one-dimensional characters in my story. In fact, I pride myself on this being the best part of My Clone in Another world.
The Comedy tag was added, as a way to make everything more natural. To flesh out the MC's thoughts and actions, all while providing some entertainment. Could have done better with this one, to be honest.
Anyway, I hope you will like the story as many brain cells died to give birth to it.

- RathowmRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The premise of this novel is amazing. It reminds me of one of the later arcs of 'I shall seal the heavens'. But it was one of my favorite arcs. So far, the story flows well and is interesting enough to be continued. I highly encourage you give this a read if youre a fan of Xianxia novels.
Funny characters and dialouge. Nice cultivation system so far. I will certainly keep reading. Keep it up, author. Great work. - Daddy wants to ReadRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The Author is trying to estalbish himself and his ideas in a different way, his way.
There are kinks here and there, but for the effort and the guts to try something different, and for the simple reason that I have liked what I read, I will give the story the ovarall score of 5 stars.
Cant wait for the third arc. Hope it wont dissapoint. - S.N. KeirsteadRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Style: First and foremost, the author has a great way of making characters' voices feel both distinct and unique. There is a feeling of genuineness as you read through the thoughts of the narrators as well as their interpretation of transpiring events. Even between the shifts of POV, it is still possible to tell the difference between them because of how unique they feel.
Grammar: Overall, the grammar in this story is flawless. Throughout my reading, I didn't notice any major grammatical or punctuation issues. No typos, and if there were some that had been discovered by readers, the author fixed them promptly. Makes for a very smooth and easy reading experience.
Story: The story opens up with an interesting twist on the classic "truck-kun" theme. There is more backstory to why characters' souls gets thrown into a new world as well as glimpse into the "almighty force" that summons others into the fantasy setting. As for the main meat of the story, it follows what I assume to be a standard Xianxia/Wuxia affair with some humor thrown in.
Character: As said before, the narrators have very strong and distinct voices. Some of the characters have a sense of humor regarding their situation, considering the fact that there isekai'ing and clones are involved. The references are a bit on the nose at times but it definitely has its fair share of humorous moments. The main character definitely feels young and inexperienced, seeing as how he's only in his twenties. He's funny when it needs to be as well as having his serious moments along with having plenty of room for growth. - Pickle HurlantRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What a wonderful slow-pacing tale, even if Xianxia and Isekai are completely out of my range. Fortunately, I was hooked by the sci-fi introduction.
As stated in the previous reviews, the characters really shine and implied a lot of work. Every one of them is marvelously described and introduced. They breathe life, thanks to the wonderful prose and clever world-building. They interact with each other for the sake of the story, without pushing a plot. They are slow to develop, but it remains entertaining enough for me to want to learn more. You jump from concept to concept, without being lost which will pleased the Portal enjoyers.
Despite the curious switch between first and third person and some grammatical mistakes, the story remains easy to read and very enjoyable. - Dreamer that I amRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story and Character are the best parts of the story, honestly. It has a few problems just like every other story, but they do not distract you too much from the real thing.
Style 4.5 Stars - The style is a bit interesting. The story is mainly written in the first-person PoV of the MC but it has times when 3ed PoV appears on the stage. What I have noticed is that when the 3ed PoV is used it's mostly when other characters are involved without the MC and only a few of them with the MC involved. My guess is that this way it is possible to flesh out side characters more. The chapters are fairly longer than normal on this site and sometimes they can feel a bit stretched too long, especially when something is explained. The only good grace as to why I have not given it a lower score is because almost all info dumps are disguised as a dialog between characters.
Story 4.5 Stars - The story itself is unique. I don't think I have read anything like this before as the story was woven from quite a few ideas. Throughout the story I have seen how the author was trying to establish something uniquely him, I think. Due to that, there is quite a lot of stuff about concepts and mechanics involved. Now if it was just that, most people would not like the story, and would just dismiss it as info-dumpy, in a sense, but if they do they would miss the story itself which is very unique. On their own, both things would not stand but when combined with the characters involved in the story, it just kinda clicks with you and you want to read more. The only reason I have not given the story 5 stars is that it is a slow-burning story.
Grammar 4.5 Stars - Now here is the worst part of the story. As you read you will easily notice that English ain't the writer's first language. While occasional typos appear, all stories have those. Here there are a few weird sentence structurings involved. My guess is the author wanted to make it look far more advance than it is. Overall, though it's not bad, just a - CKJ5Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story 5/5: My Clone in Another World is a progression portal fantasy story full of high concept ideas but delivers them in an easy-to-digest way. The story deals with the concept of reincarnation in a way that I have never seen before, but to be fair, I am very new to Isekai stories.
Style 4.5/5: The story is told from the first-person view most of the time, but there are times when it shifts to third-person, which admittedly can be jarring until you get used to it.
Grammar 4/5:There are some issues grammatically that I saw, but the one thing that stuck out to me was the choice to create so many proper nouns. (Power, Life Essence, and so on.) But I would also like to state that what issues I did see did not detract from my enjoyment.
Character 4.5/5: My Clone in Another World has an interesting MC who comes to terms with what has happened to them and starts to make the best of it.
Overall 4.5/5:There are a lot of neat concepts in this story, making it worth reading if you are into progression / Isekai stories. I enjoyed the way the story handled reincarnation. I also found some of the higher concepts of the story intriguing. - NexileRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I’ll admit, I’ve not read many cultivation stories, though I have read quite a bit of isekai. This story starts out more or less the same way, except that it adds a few novel touches. Additionally, the slice of life approach was pleasant to read for a change and not have everything jumping at the protagonist from the get-go.
STORY: Now this part, I enjoyed quite a lot. As I previously mentioned, the story takes a slow approach and it gives readers time to settle into the world which expands as we travel with our protagonist. The author did a lot to split the arcs and give ample time for each aspect of the story to be introduced properly and that was great. It never felt rushed, which is often the case in these types of stories. Additionally, I enjoyed the sections about powers since the author put a lot of thought into it.
STYLE: Simple and readable, with bits of humour every now and again which had me chuckling at sentences of paragraphs (and I don’t chuckle often!) One thing that did bother me a little were the info dumps (done in dialogue so it was better than just exposition, but still noticeable). This does go away in the latter chapters, and past chapter 9-10 it was a breeze to go through them despite the length.
CHARACTER: There’s a fair amount of characters, and POVs aside from the protagonist were mainly there to show us (the readers) some important events or conversations. That was fine. The protagonist is the lead and we learn alongside her about everyone. It was especially enjoyable seeing how our lead is chill about everything (yes, there’s the occasional panic-time, but that made sense). There were some situations where I wasn’t sure if her decisions were logical for her background, but given her current circumstances, that’s something hard to judge accurately. That said, I enjoyed seeing the world through her eyes a lot.
GRAMMAR: There were issues with this part. Sentence structure, word-choice, commas… It’s by no means unreadable, the meaning is clea - BullerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story itself is great. Focusing on the good stuff, I fully think this plot is some A-Tier stuff. If expanded upon, it'll be some top-level stuff that more than a few are going to enjoy. Yet, I also think it is being dragged down by the stuff around it. Characthers don't feels as different to each other as they probably should, the weird thing with " " where there's spaces eludes me to no end, and the style doesn't lift what it needs to for the story to always work. It has promise but I really do think it could be done better. 4.5/5. Might chance in the future.
- OGsecurityvikingRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Eastern mysticism, Magic, Slive of life, and more. With a premise that is not often explored "My clone in another world" is a new take on the Isekai genre that is well worth a read.
The style of the story is a classical third-person perspective following the main character and various side characters around.
The grammar is excellent, the sentence structure is good, and there is no "wall of text" to plow through.
The story itself is quite interesting, if a bit drawn out in certain sections, especially in the beginning, but that might just be a personal issue for me. Descriptions are long and detailed, pure candy for the picky reader, but sometimes... disheartening... for others (namely myself, but my opinion is based)
The character is quite interesting, a lot of inner monologuing going on here that helps develop our understanding of the character. Focus is moved to side characters when needed, giving them a chance to be fleshed out as characters and integrate them into the storyline.
Overall, quite an enjoyable read once you get into it. Fair warning, it does require you to hang on for the first handful of chapters, but afterward, it's always exciting to press "Next chapter" - divs132Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Very detailed world building. The thought put in the world building by the author shows but the explanations fall short in showing its full potential. The philosophy behind the thoughts are very well explained and even the side characters are fleshed out and do not feel single dimensional.
The gender bender tag is not just a gimmick and the mental issues that would happen with such an event are very well explored
The reincarnation is handled in a unique way and felt much more natural
