    First this is my first review so I'm not really sure how to do this but this is my review
    Great story, I don't really have anything bad to say about it other then the shortish chapters. One of my favorites so far and I hope this story continues. Looking forward to the next chapter.

    Alright, let's try this a second time?  Thanks, RR, for eating my last review.
    Dun! Dun! Dun!  A vtuber is only as good as her self-introduction, and our titular character is hella precious.  Our hero is a bit bland, but his earnest attitude isn't unappreciated; he's sweet, kind, and easy to sympathize with.
    Sometimes you can see the author's nationality peek out a little in the turn of phrase ("mum" in particular), but that's nothing a quick pass couldn't fix!  Grammar's fine overall.
    The whole cast of characters is delightfully colorful, from little sisters to maids, and there's always something charming about a story that gives you a DDR scene.
    Dialogue is also a double-edged sword: scathing and fast-paced, but sometimes all flash and little substance, asking you to search for meaning between vague remarks that sound cool.
    Introspection is a strong suit, though.  Akua captures a nice voice here for the protagonist, though some of the self-referential "I'm the protagonist" stuff can fall a little flat occasionally.
    Honestly, this is such an easy and fun binge, though!  It's charming and quirky, with clear passion behind it.  It's definitely like cotton candy, light and full of sugary good feeling.
    Thanks for the meal, Akua-senpai~

    Overview;
    OsannaV is a story of endless fun, one you enjoy so much in the moment that all else can quite easily fade from thought and I think that's something quite remarkable. It is a book that succeeds in a true 'anime' feeling, with focused plotting and great characters - It is put plainly a book that makes you smile alot, while also harbouring some deeper feelings on living outside the standard lines of life and expressing yourself though art - It's a book I think almost anyone can enjoy and gets my full recommendation😊.
    Spoilers Ahoy;
    I must say thinking about this book since it debuted on RR as well as re-reading my notes from its old home, if anything simply made me want to read the volume all over again! Though if you read the exciting afterword at the end of the book, you'll know I have good reason to hold off a little while on that front😉.
    So that in mind I want to talk a little about the experience of OsannaV as I think its an integral part of the book - In short as a novel it interacts with the audience splendidly.
    From 'meme-able' moments, to the many little mysteries along the way and its brilliantly on point relatability - What occurs most when reading is a sort of empathetic smile, sometimes out of sympathy for a familiar embarrassment, sometimes out of wholesome triumph when Aki finally gets something right.
    Indeed my notes for OsannaV are actually some of my all time weakest - Most of them are just me and others in the comments having fun, leaving 'f' in the chat, joking about maid supremacy - It is a novel that sucks you in to its comfy world and encourages you to play along, to have fun, be embarrassed and feel everything else along with the characters and your fellow readers - Akua themself frequently partaking in the fun, or adding new art of Aki looking mighty fine - Truly it nails the community experience in a way only a clever web-novel can achieve.
    That's not mind you, to say there isn't anything deeper below the surface:

    OsananaV is a treat to read. The back and forth of not just the main duo, but all the characters is engaging and entertaining. I fear if I say more, I might say to much and spoil some of the fun, so instead I will just end with a strong recommendation to read.

    All in all, a fun and light read, hammered it out in an hour or two.
    There was a lot of cringe. Like, physically inducing. Doesn't help that I'm not a fan of such blatant fourth wall shenanigans in prose, without a justifying framing device.
    That said, it was enjoyable enough. Like those trashy shoujo mangas that are enjoyable and keep you entertained. Like the Street Fighter Live Action from the 90s starring Jean-Claude Van Dam. It's good, it's enjoyable, makes ya laugh, and wouldn't mind owning a copy.
    I will be back for volume two.

    OsananaV displays the typical anime-esque romcom series, but with fun and lovable characters constantly showing off their wit and sass in sequences of quick-fire wordplay warfare.
    Story: The plot is pretty straightforward, with each chapter leading to some sort of progress as we follow the main character constantly pushing himself out of his comfort zone and trying to break his limits as shut-in otaku as he continues to engage with his childhood best friend. If you're an introvert, you might find yourself relating with the guy.
    The only thing that bugs is me is the fact that the Vtuber aspect of the story just feels like something that runs in the background rather than being in the spotlight and the plot focuses more on developing the romance part of the plot.
    Grammar: Grammar is pretty decent, just a few minor corrections that aren't really noticable.
    Character: The characters are simply put, amusing. They all have their own unique charm to them and you can see their personality through their dialogue, which is a strong aspect to the story. They all have their own style of being witty with their words, which makes it fun to read through all of their verbal duels.
    Style: The way the narrator (MC) tells the story makes it feel like you are truly inside a person's head. His thoughts can grow chaotic pretty quickly, with quick-fire sentences of self-deprication, self-appreciation and self-reflection running through his mind in ridiculous situations.
    Overall, an easy-to-digest read that tackles on the idea of identity, proper communication, going out of your comfort zone and of course, VTubers.
