- ExbalicurRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The main character, to say the least, is pretty interesting. I don't like the fact that he seems pretty weak and a cry baby but that does set the stage for development. He's to much of a "go with the flow" type of guy and lacks some serious back bone. However, I still found myself tuning in to see what he did next. Enough to make me create an account and leave a review. The overall plot, though, is pretty jumbled up but I get the gist of what's going on. Grammar is good, characters are alright. If you're looking to just kill some time, this is a story worth checking out.
- trekshcoolRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This story is alright, the power has potential, the main character cares more about strangers than his own friends and family. And apparently, the power cant even work properly inside mc because the mc has a weak body and genetics.
The grammar is alright, the flow of the story is good. I just can't get behind the mc or find myself caring about him at all. - CorazorRoyal Road★★★ 2.5First of all here's what I like about the story . We have a guy who gets superpowers and they're pretty cool superpowers. From what we've been told ghee can absorb 5 different superpowers from anyone and use them to their full potential. Thats pretty awesome. He has a mysterious past and in a certain point in the story he lets a pregnant girl live with him because she has no where else to go. Throw in the fact that he has to save the world and we have a pretty nice premise.
Here's what I don't like. The Mc' s grandpa supposedly was some kind if big shot in the past, and the mc memories have been altered to make him forget his childhood friends, but conciencedently they all work for this ancient organization who he needs to join to collect these stones that are a piece of a mystical scepter that was created by long extinct magic that can control time and space so that this other ancient organization doesn't use it to take over the world.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that the plot is unnecessarily convoluted and kinda stupid. It doesn't help that the author writes the mc as this noble guy who wants to help people just out of the kindness of his heart, but when he gets the power he's a complete wuss, yet somehow saves the day along with everyone around him by the magic of plot armor. He doesn't make one decision for himself and just seems strangely okay with everything with little to no disagreements.
The author has great writing skills, with little to know vocab or grammar mistakes. It's just his story is all over the place and unfocused.
