- RznRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This was good for a short story though it is one of those things that mindset is a bit important. If the idea of mothman is something strange or funny, then the plot might bring to mind other superhero ideas and make this almost like satire. I think it is because we have no actual description for mothman or any interactions referenced (from self or neutral observer) as to how people react to him. Obviously not everyone is afraid of him. That ending though... I do have issues with it but it does work in a way.

Great descriptions, here's a quote (stop reading now if you want to go into the story completely fresh.... okay.... here's the quote....) "My weight shifted from one leg to the other. Talons scraped along the roof’s rusted sheet metal, red eyes catching the neon reflections, scattered like shattered glass across the wet pavement below. They flickered like a car’s tail lights right before a crash." I am going to check out more of this author's work.
