- Futhark the ElderRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The main character is somewhat cynical, which is consistent with his back story. He has the virtue of being decisive, and his actions hint at a kinder nature than his cold manner pretends.
The story trope, that of the coming of "the system" with associated monsters, is familiar but well executed. The writing is not flawless but good storytellers, this author being one, generate enough momentum to carry the reader past the occasional awkward moment.
The system is relatively complex, with sub-attributes that have effects that are a bit unclear, and it is also not clear whether points may be allocated to all the attributes (for example, to luck). Nevertheless the excitement of the plot overrides the frustration of not understanding precisely how the system works.
To arrive at the 5 star rating, I asked myself: "Is this a story that makes you wait eagerly for the next chapter, and that (so far) has left a pleasant aftertaste in the mouth at the end of each chapter?" It is obviously a subjective rating, but at least it's not pretentious, as if I knew better than the author how to do plot, characterisation, etc. - RingostraussRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Could use a bit of editing, but nothing so bad that it disrupts the flow of the story. I like this flavor of Litrpg, and your system seems fun. I don't mind an OP main character and the advantages he's gained, but I also wouldn't mind some of the other characters getting a bit more involved. Once over their initial shock I'd expect some of them at least to start becoming quite useful.
Thanks for your effort writing this and I look forward to reading more. - Arashi ZarosRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5the pacing is a bit fast though, and the mc is a "cold mc" that almost only care for himself,so if there is a Damsel in distress ,then he willn't care much if there is no benefit or not Convenient to do it
