Monstrous Thing

Lavinia Delacroix (all her friends call her Vinnie) has not had an easy life, and it's not getting any easier. A mother who has distanced herself from her life and the inability to live up to her mother's expectations follow Vinnie like a dark shadow. After a mishap at work that leads to her termination, she finds herself rooming with her friend and working at a local fast-food chain, wondering how to get her life back on track.
