    Yet another interesting and heartwarming tale about a monster by our favorite Angry Spider.  As usual, he writes fantastic "monster" characters (that are nicer than most people).  It's early days, but already enjoyable.  I can't wait for more Nahma and shedding fun!
    Please note this is a prequel to Infamous (). I highly recommend reading that first, if you want to understand the world and characters better.

    The mind of a man in the body of a monster.
    Not the most unique concept, but so far it has been much better than it's predecessors on this site.
    You can see the main character obviously struggeling with his new body, surroundings and situation all the while clinging to his past existence. All this takes place in a world full of horrendous looking beasts much like our mc.
    I don't know where it will go from here, which is honestly half the fun for me.
    The story is well written and has good grammer too, so i suggest you read it right now!

    Its a good Story,but simply not my cup of Tea.
    Advertising it as Pokemon is also rather misleading. I started reading this fic in hopes of someone dealing with the Monster Taming of intelligent Creatures in a Fun but realistic way,giving it a new perspective. Unfortunately its more of a Grimdark Gore Feast.
    To be fair i kept reading for a bit and the MC dealing with his new VERY Monstrous Nature is interesting, as well as his relationship with the humans he comes across so far and the other Monsters he meets. Even though he kills or eats most of them. The world building is nice when i see it, i really LOVE the concept of a Symbiotic relationship to perform Magic.
    That´s as far as i can go for a review as ive stopped reading, for those who like this kind of dark MC please read it and the far more accurate reviews above. For those similar minded as me i can recommend the first 5 Chapters.

    After that he kills the first human he encounters and bites the arm of the 14 year old girl trying to catch him. It doesnt get better as his next ability are sentient tentacle tounges that essentially eat souls and assemble them into him. Furthe along the story he absorbs people and his body morphs into something you would find in "the Forest", also the girl which he bit the arm of is slowly corrupted into a monster herself craving for human flesh. I hope this helped you to decide wether you want to read this story furhter.

    This is a story about someone reincarnating as a monster. And the author goes out of their way to make said monster body monstrous. This comes with split personality, cannibalism, soul eating and tentacles. There's gore pretty much every chapter.
    Which is imho the weakness of this story. The world is potentially interesting, but I kind really find it in myself to care for all the pointless gore porn. Like how many eviscerations do you need until it gets boring?
    It's a bit like the author has a checklist for that kind of thing to go through. Please mark your story as grim-dark or horror and don't advertise with Pokemon. Because this is about a little horror spawning in a horror deathworld where some people manage to enslave horrors and others become horrors.
