Monsters as Men

I had my Age. An Age of glory, of victory, of lost friends. I made it through, and became the champion of good, battling for the entire universe.

I can't do everything, though.

Eventually, I... died.  I'd done everything I could, and so I left the world to evil, going to the great sleep.

Then the world called. I really didn't want to go back, and I'm still not sure if it was a good idea. But the evil that had killed me was killing others.

And I wasn't just going to stand by. Revenge is one of my favorite emotions, after all.

So I was reborn. And this time? I wouldn't lose anyone.

For I am Eternity.
