Monster Killing as a Hobby

Following successive losses in an online video game, mild mannered Jerod snaps from accumulated frustration in life and decides to go and release his pent up angst by killing some of the few monsters that still prowl around the city walls in this modern era. Donning his family's ancient top tier spirit armor held in display at the family's ancestral home, Jerod finds his cathartic release in slaying the hapless monsters. But Jerod's new activity turns out to be more than he's bargained for as he stumbles his way through ancient secrets, modern conspiracies, and city politics, all the while trying to balance his work and family obligations with his new most Noble hobby, monster killing.
