I am enjoying the plotline of the story, one of the parts I like was when he beat the boss and returned some valuables to people to help them, the story also has some humor in it with good action, but it feels a little grim

I really enjoyed the premise of this story. It’s an original take on a familiar story and the author does a great job of immersing the reader early. The pacing is great as well.
style- The author take a familiar story and puts an interesting twist on it. Monster gates riddle the world and the anointed are chosen to combat the ever growing monsters. Lucian is a worker that strips the gates of valuable materials after they are cleared, and man is he down on his luck. The rent is due and he is being chased by loan sharks to boot when he decides to do something a little crazy with his friend Gabe.
story- the story is great, the author does an amazing job of building out the characters and Lucian is so relatable as a down on his luck protagonist. I love the premise very reminiscent of Pacific Rim but we take the fight to them.
grammar is solid, no issues big enough to take away from the overall quality of the story.
characters- this is where the story really shines. The characters are fleshed out so well. You feel for Lucian because he is a solid dude with a terrible backstory just trying to make the best life for himself that he can. He makes some bad decisions, but he is a good person

Only the prologue is up as I write this but it is well written and introduces a cool premise to expand apon.
The world building is good and there doesn’t seem to be any grammar mistakes, look forward to the first actual chapter.
I really like the look of the cover.

I enjoyed the story a lot, and especially some of the ways that it deviated from the norm. Firstly, it is set some time after the apocalypse, whereas many other LitRPG post apocalyptic stories are set during it. Secondly not everyone has the System, which allows for more of a traditional post apocalyptic story line to be maintained. In general, it was well done, with no evident grammar errors and the style was well constructed.

The grammer seems pretty perfect, no noticeable errors that i could catch.
The style of the books is also pretty good, no noticeable flaws. It is pretty engaging and i do like books that have this type of style.
The story seems slightly predictable and cliche, but not to the point where it turns you off the book. The story seems to be progressing quite nicely and the MC is quite enjoyable to read about.
The crux of the matter would be the characters, almost every other part of the story is of pretty high quality, but the character interactions are pretty stiff.  Except for a few characters, the rest are not really fleshed out and seem quite shallow. The character interactions also seem a bit rushed and feel quite random in how they act. This makes certain chapters seem a bit confusing when reading them.
i believe that the book is really good, and just needs maybe a rewrite on its character interactions and dialogue to really shine. I have no doubt that the author is a good writer and can make this book shine.
However i do recommend you read this book as my review might not be what you feel about this book when you read it. At its core, its a good book. Just needs some polish.

There is certainly potential in this story, and the contrasts between the dystopian world and the fantasy hives of possibility further manifests a tension between the upper and lower classes. Lucian is an extremely down on his luck, incredibly hard working and intelligent young man whose virtues are turned against him by the world, which has evolved into a horrific classist society fueled by dungeoneering.
To start simply, the grammar is functional, with no mistakes, and the story has good potential. However, the story falters in capitalizing on major moments- an early hope spot followed by calamitous robbery, a massacre of their crew, and their evolution into Anointed do not particularly stick out.
This really breaches more into style, but I feel that these events should be stronger, the climaxes of different chapters, but instead it feels a bit like "well, that happened" and they don't tonally stand out from the rest of the tale. The style is my main challenge with this story, as I feel the author tells instead of shows a lot of the time, and it makes the narration rather clunky.
The other challenge is that the perspective is vague- the omniscient narration combs through characters heads, and reveals their motivations without seeming to specifically stick to our protagonist, or even who is the point of view of a scene. I think some clearer boundaries of who we are following in each instance could aid the story significantly.
The characters are honestly great. Gabriel is a fantastic deuteragonist, and felt marked for death in a very tense manner given his tragic struggling family. He's a fun and stylish counterpart to the main character.
Others, like Mort and Jeff, provide points of view to demonstrate the variety of the world, and presumably so do Elina and Amelia, though they have not been seen in the story for sometime, they seem destined to pop back up. Elina especially occupies an odd position of being apparently manipulative and possessive enough to scare off
