Rheis has always enjoyed her quiet life in the small ocean front town of Lani. But when she starts having dark dreams prophetising a terrible future for her best friend Emma, she knows she has to escape the comfort of home and put distance between them. Luckily, Rheis is given a new role within the empire, one that takes her many miles away from her home, family and familiarity.
