Description

As the species of the Coalition know all too well, any First Contact can be a delicate time. The crew of a Coalition exploration vessel find this out all too well when they stumble across a new, unknown sapient race. I love it so far.
1. It has multiple povs per chapter usually.
2. It has plot within the plot at least at first. In other words subplot? Ya, let's go with that.
3. Peaceful aliens first contact scenario with an ominous enemy on the horizon.
4. Actual cooperation between Earth and Aliens.

okay so i really fucking like this story, it’s got a bunch of good elements but the one that stands out to me is that the author has the proper knowledge/did the research, to properly display space with scientific accuracy, and that’s one of the most important facets of a sci fi story for me. And the characters and story telling is great as well, so there is more than just science to it. real compliments to the author you did a great job so far.
i am wondering how the dreadnaught is gonna do anything useful in the fight though
