Modern Day Immortal Cultivation

Alex was an ordinary man, just living his life not knowing a god was using him as their source entertainment, along with few other people. One day Alex was at a party but decided to leave early, so he could be at work on time. It was already dark by the time he left the party so he decided to take a short cut through the park. He started to day dream to distract himself from the gloominess surrounding the park not knowing he stumbled upon a mugging, he didn't break out of his day dream until he got shot. This is the story of one of the favorites of God that got a second chance.
