Mis'Adventures in babysitting (a cosmic horror story?)

Waking up has never been more painful for... "wait who am i again? and why is someone talking right in my ear", "that's not important and you're not supposed to hear or see this..." anyway... Waking up has never been more painful for Coda nor quite this disorientating but that is the least of their worries as they soon realize that they're trapped in the dreams of an evil deity far from the reality they were born in surrounded by enemies with few allies... however all hope is not lost as leaving is surprisingly easy and they even have a straight shot home... if only taking that "straight shot" was so simple.
