From the description, it seems like a lot of the meat of the story will be about the medical emergencies, and I can't wait to read all about those. Gory details about people getting fixed up from college mishaps? Yes please! If anything, I'd maybe want the emergencies introduced sooner if that's the main focus--maybe an in medias res beginning would help frame the story in those terms from the get go? Haha basically I can't wait for more.
Style and grammar-wise, it's an absolute pleasure. All the characters seem vibrant and deep, especially the main character. The relationships between the characters, though, seem a bit unmotivated -- a little too much "well they're in the same place at the same time so they're friends". Why are they getting along? Why, of all the people Andi sees when she starts school, does Flint stand out to her? I'm especially hoping to see more relationship development as the story finds its stride.
