In a faraway forest lived a bitter old dying hermit by the name of Lathar. Lathar is the last surviving necromancer in the world of Venoria. In a desperate attempt to keep himself from dying, he does the impossible by releasing his soul before his death to find a new body to inhabit. With very little time left within the soul realm, he takes a gamble and inhabits the body of a lowly ghoul in a dungeon. Armed with knowledge and sentience the newly born lesser ghoul must grow and evolve if he wants to survive against the onslaught of adventurers and those wanting to kill him.
