Description

I’ve been a street rat, a bruiser, a bouncer, a fixer, a nanny, and a cleaner. You do what you can to get by in Dockside. It ain’t always pretty, but if you keep your chin tucked down and your fists raised, more often than not you make it out the other side okay. You fight for what you want and to keep what little you got. Thats been my life for the past twenty-four years and I’m used to it.

One problem.

I aint in Dockside no more. The mad scientist, same one that gave me my near indestructible body, shoved me through a portal to another world. I’m meant to right a wrong his father may have set in motion. I owe the guy my life so I won't complain. But the planet is alive and trying to ‘assimulate’ me into its system and wants my help. Something dark is festering just beneath its surface and corrupting anything it touches...including the locals and when the locals range from elves to spider people to freaking dragon woman that aren’t too happy with the human population, the last thing they need is a corrupting touch.

Well, you can take the boy out of Dockside but you can’t take the Dockside out of the boy. It’s time to tuck that chin and raise those hands. A fights brewing, and It’s been a while since I had a good one.

A story with great action that uses the rpg elements in a nice way. Has some fun characters that interact very well with each other and wonderfully described action. Definitely something to sink your teeth into.

One chapter in and I'm captivated. It's so rare to be dragged into a story so quickly. Great job on the descriptions. Really gives an excellent idea of what the scene looks like. Really great grammar and spelling. Honestly I could barely tell this wasn't an actual chapter in a published work on my kindle.

I'm writting this review as of chapter 16
So far, so good with well written dialouge and great fight scenes. Its still early so the auther has room to grow and write something epic or crash and burn.
I'm enjoying it and I love the side characters so i'll give it a total of 5 stars but that may change as the story progresses.
    Keep it coming!

Another outsider to save the world story, but the writing is good and the characters humorous.  I can't wait for the spicy bits.  It should be good.

Dumb brute on Earth travels to another world but stays a dumb brute. Very slow moving plot and pretty horrible spelling and grammar. Not horrible, not great.

MC is a street rat who was saved by a man and got help from his son after basically being ignored by the rest of the world. The MC is characterized as loyal though he will cheat, steal and murder(?). Seems a bit weird but ok. The son gave the MC a half robotic body saving him in the process. MC owed him a favour. He calls it. Then guiltily sends him to another world without explaining much of anything. MC saves a arachne women then stares at her legs(ass) and when asked says he was staring at her ass straight away. Then she takes him to her brood and shit happens on the way. He sees brood mother, is told to kneel. He remembers being powerless and says no(like all edgy MCs). Brood mother says she understands that, for she would not kneel to a human. He keeps staring at the first arachne chicks ass and goes to meet the local doctor.
I read till chapter 9 but the annoyingness and wannabe edginees of the MC made me grit my teeth but I powered through it while reading of the plot armour given to the MC in the form of the class Champion. Not a good read for me.

I read about 15 chapters before giving up on this, it's just plain boring, not very interesting. Protagonist is a cyborg who gets pushed through a portal to the isekai. He then goes around ogling some spider chicks ass (ogling, never touching) for 15 chapters, oh and there were some fight scenes along the way, and some kind of plot about a stolen life core and some demi-humans and the like mysteriously going insane.
At one point the protagonist was standing before some powerful thing, one of the more powerful beings in the world, shaking in his boots, then just a scant few chapters later he stands before a being of a comparable level that's in a frenzy, and kicks it's ass like nobody's business. So the strength of the MC is pretty inconsistent, it's like he's not that strong but he's still strong enough to beat literally anything you'll pit him against, there's no weak to strong power scaling here, the guy just starts out as top dog from the get go, everytime he gets injured it's not because something was stronger or faster than him, but because he was being dumb and spacing out. Oh, and everything in the entire universe has super-regeneration, including the protagonist. So it doesn't really matter that much if he gets fatally wounded.
And the main plot of beating back the earthling invaders and fixing up this other world, which by this point hasn't even been touched on a little bit, it's like the protagonist kinda doesn't have a real motive for it, some guy asked him to do it and he's just going "ok, I'll do it man" and that's all. That's his entire motive for the entire main plot. The main plot the author can't seem to stick to.
My impression of this story from the first 15 chapters is that it's a boring mess. Don't bother. The protag is also edgy as shit, it's pretty cringeworthy at parts.
