Description
This story takes place in a world where every human being is born with a magical energy within them called a Meld. One circular continent holds all the people of the planet, leading the population to call it The World. It is ruled over by 8 different slices, each holding a leading, prominent kingdom. Surrounding these slices is the Edge of The World, a lawless wasteland rumored to have been the aftermath of a disastrous incident that has been forever lost in history. Luna Windstar is the princess of the Kingdom of Flawdah, a major kingdom part of the 8 slices. Through the help of a mysterious, yet arrogant young man she wishes to escape her arranged marriage, willing to leave behind her life of nobility.

The prose, characterization, world building, and intricate power system leaves nothing to be desired. Jorge's selfless character juxtaposed with his mask of feigned disinterest makes him both intriguing and relatable on a personal level, which is why he's my favorite character. Smokestack's genius is unrivaled by any author, living or dead.

The grammar is good, no glaring issues, the story starts off with a bang, and it keeps you wanting more. If the author can keep up the rate of chapter releases, we may be seeing the rise of a new titan.
