The story itself was suspenseful throughout, and it had a few twists that caught me off-guard in a pleasant way. Overall, more or less everything I'd ask for in a microfiction. The all-caps felt a bit extra but that's a very minor nitpick.

For being only 1600 words it does quite a lot, though the sort of madness is a bit unexplained, or how fast the transformation takes effect, but other than that this was a good short story worth the read!
