An amazing fic. Despite the infrequent updates, waiting is definitely worth it. When I first found this, I was instantly hooked.
It has a great writing style while maintaining the 'show don't tell' rule. The plot is interesting and the story flows well with good pacing.
I absolutely love the main character and the unusual choice of a malfoy as the main is very interesting.

I have read this fic 3 times and about to read it a 4th. I love the MC. As a fellow author, I'm actually jealous about how well she is written. Recommend this boon even if it is on hiatus or dropped. Medea is just an amazing protagonist and the story about her is also amazing

No need to say much but it shows HP from the otheside of the fence, well written and crafted with a suitably dark theme. One thing to note is that our little villain is not an overpowered individual, which makes  it all the better for it. The MC actually shows and has weaknesses that show the 'human' side of the equation, hell the managed to do it with Draco too and that's impressive in its own right.

The story draws you in from the get go, every chapter just adds more and more depth. The balance between a cunning character with self hatred and love for her family. From major defining characteristics like being cheeky and anxious to small details such as playfulness and sarcasm can be clearly felt.
    on style
I see confidence and a genuine desire to tell a story. The use of punctuation is great, some prose can be long and hard to understand, however they are personal and unique, highlighting the perspective that we are seeing.
    On story
not much has happened so too early to judge, from the foreshadowing i can see the author either has something in plan with the “background” of the characters, fitting into the original story or completely changing the HP plot. I prefer the latter but i trust the author’s own desire will result in the best story.
    characters
the best part. I love medea, her family, her friends. The tiny codes she has with her brother, the sarcastic jab full of love to her father and just all her quirks! She feels human. The side-characters are all well developed as well. I know this is a Slytherin POV but i hope the other houses can also have their time to shine in the story. The depth of the main cast are just 🤌 if the other houses (especially harry which i know is a jackass but he is a kid, redeemable no 🥹) can also have that depth it will be great
    grammar
no comments, a sight for sore eyes since im currently browsing through Naruto fan fics that are just filled with blind inducing proses (not all of them but the majority of them are just not it)

It's fairly obvious this fanfiction comes from a deep respect for the source material. I was almost certain that going into this the main character, Medea, would just be another author self insert and this was going to be some kind of perverse story about fantasizing Draco Malfoy (Not unlike a certain other fanfiction that shall not be named) but possibly with a little more incest.
    I was completely wrong! =)
This is an isekai story with a character that actually has goals, rather than a vague 'I'll do whatever I want this time lol' attitude that a lot of other fanfiction/ Isekai protagonists have (you know, a classic power fantasy). Although Medea falls into similar trappings that other reincarnation/ go back in the past protagonists have, there is enough of a twist on her character that keeps the story interesting.
Medea's main goal is to die for her new found family (The Malfoys), but in a way that at least benefits them. So you have a nasty, suicidal protagonist that only cares about saving the Malfoy's from having to struggle as she tries to become the new villain of the plot. The hippocritical nature of her goal is incredibly interesting. She's completely got a savior complex.
Also I am super surprised by the Neville Longbottom shipping. It almost always brings a smile to my face when I see it happening. Great stuff!
There are a few things to be aware of before starting this one though.
The first is that the main character, Medea Malfoy, is not a good person. That 'Villainous lead' tag is not there just for show. I've seen some people not be able to handle it when a character does something obviously cruel, so if that is something you dislike, this is not a story for you. (She fits right in with the other Malfoys and is in the Slitherine house, what do you think she is going to be like.) Quite frankly alloralee (The Author) does an extremely great job on showing just how out of control, yet desperate for control Medea is that I never once felt she had done anyt

I was a fan of Harry Potter when I first read it. When my little sister started listening to the audiobook A LOT recently though, I realised its CLEARLY wrote for a specific age group and the whole "Good VS Evil" and plotholes are fine as long as its for MC just aren't for me anymore.
THIS fanfiction though actually makes an effort to give context to the MC, we get to know Medea and though she of course has her flaws they are neither ignored nor somehow turned into something "positive" like it was with the original Harry Potter! The character interactions are really nice to read! They showcase some "clishees" of course and ARE somewhat "predetermined" by the original books, but the details, the banter and the emotions all together create an atmosphere and characters a reader can really care about AND understand!
Really my only "complaint" right now (I read the whole story in about a day) is that its on a "pseudo-Hiatus" as the author is focusing on another project, but thats just how life works sometimes :)
I really enjoyed the read and will be eagerly waiting for more content!

"Medea Malfoy Lives Again" by alloralee, is a captivating journey of self-discovery and empowerment that offers an goodly addition to the beloved Harry Potter universe. Drawing us into the heretofore untapped lore of the Malfoy family, the author paints a vibrant portrait of Medea Malfoy, Draco's twin sister, who deals with the stresses of her life in a unique way - through exercise of running.
Right from the start, Medea's character presents a fascinating dive into a dark character born in a family of death eaters. This novel twist offers an exciting take on the conventional image of the Malfoy family and is a testament to alloralee's deep storytelling.
The narrative is laced with moments of profound introspection, beautifully portraying Medea's internal struggles. Her daily running excursions and pushing herself way too much serve as a metaphor for her desire to escape the weight of her problems, but they also symbolize her steady, determined journey towards personal growth and sucess + they serve to break away the character of Neville away from the golden trio.
Moreover, alloralee skillfully weaves the familiar backdrop of the Harry Potter world into Medea's narrative. The author infuses the story with enough magical elements to satisfy Potter fans while maintaining the authenticity of Medea's personal journey. The Hogwarts setting, beloved characters, and familiar plot events are all seamlessly integrated, creating an engaging narrative that aligns pretty harmoniously with the canon.
However, it's worth noting that the focus on Medea's running and self-hatred occasionally overshadows the magical elements of the story. For some readers, this may create an unexpected departure from the conventional magic-centric narrative style prevalent in most Harry Potter fanfiction.
"Medea Malfoy Lives Again" does an impressive job of showcasing the multi-faceted nature of stress management and the goodly importance of physical health. Medea's story is empowering, providing re

There are around a million Harry Potter Fanfics, and among those are a multitude of Malfoy self inserts and OCs. This is among the best of not only Malfoy fics, but also Harry Potter fics in general. The only fic that can even compare is In Bad Faith. Absolutely peak 5/5

Everything was immaculate, the prose, the plot, the characters.
Easily 10/10.  The Malfoy family is a delight and Medea makes an amazing protagonist.  I love Medea's relationship with Draco as well, it is so cute. ^^  I cant wait to see what happens next.  Theres 6 books to go and I bet that the author will write as amazingly as the first.
Thank you for some awesome writing, author!

I’m loving this like mad. I definitely have a preference for knowledgeable characters, and this has got that. Even though it sounds like a fix-it, instead you get treated to the story of a struggling young girl that is riveting so far. I’m not the arbiter of originality or goodness, but it gets a thumbs up from me for entertaining content so far and the fact it is still receiving new chapters
