Me, My Roommate, and the Girl Upstairs (Short Story)

Thomas has a problem. The girl in the apartment above him sits on her balcony, and he sees her pretty often, wondering who this beautiful girl is, and if he'll ever be able to talk to her. Thomas' roommate-- er, cat... he doesn't understand why Thomas hasn't done anything about it, and it's making him frustrated. Only through that frustration, though, is how Thomas might learn a thing or two about finding his confidence.
